        We are a family owned, local business located in Belen, New Mexico. Shari Mathews-Gallegos is the owner and operator. She attended school at Tara Lara School Of Dog Grooming.In 1982 She became State Certified. Shari worked for a local veterinarian, until she opened Shari's Pampered Pets on February 5, 1985 and she has been serving Valencia County ever since. Shari's Dog Grooming School Highlighted with over 510 hours of course in Professional Dog and Cat Grooming, including practical and written exams. You will be trained by a state certified groomer with 32 years experience. Class sizes are small, so each student will receive the one on one time they will need

        Overall

        I wouldn't take any kind of a pet to this place. when I got my dog back he was very skiddish, and cowled a lot as if he had been beaten. I guess that's why I wasn't allowed in the building to wait for my dog so I wouldn't watch to see how they beat the animals so that they will sit still. If I had to the time I would sit across the street and video tape them and then turn them into the spca or some other organization that deals with these kind of low life's
