Never again will I ever try to do business with Landers. I've spent 3 evenings at Landers with a 9 month old trying to work out a deal. Left the first evening without a deal because it had lasted past closing time. Fair enough. Waited two days to hear back on what kind of rate we were approved for... Left the second evening without a deal because there was an issue with the title of our trade-in. Even then, the manager's office was filled with at least 4 salesman who wouldn't give us an opportunity to discuss the matter in a private setting, let alone get up and offer us a seat. The weekend passes and first thing Monday morning we are working on the title to figure out what happened. All the corrected paperwork is filed, receipts printed showing the correction is being made, and the DMV people say dealerships accept these receipts all the time. So, we head back to Landers to make the deal. Again, with a 9 month old. Spend over an hour in which we only see our salesman a total of 5 mins, all to which they tell us they cannot honor the receipt stating the title is being corrected and that only once the title is corrected and reflected on carfax can they accept it as a fair trade. Thank you, Landers, for wasting WAY too much of our time.
And what did my friends and family have to say? Lots of good things about other dealerships in the metro. NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON HAD A POSITIVE THING TO SAY ABOUT YOUR DEALERSHIP. Not to mention, the first evening at Landers, we had to go in the building and beg for someone to come outside to show us a car. Then 2 days later, had to contact the salesman to find out if we were approved and at what rate. 2 DAYS LATER!! And then, when our perfectly fine trade-in was told it wasn't good enough for trade, leaving me with no choice but to walk away, our salesman was happy to go on with his day; didn't offer to help me load my baby's stroller in my car, open a car door, or anything; no "sorry this didn't work out", nothing. Not to mention, there were other salesmen standing by the front door of the building puffing away on cigarettes and forcing me and my baby to breathe it in the entire time.
Bought a used Town and Country recently. The salesman was friendly and pleasant to deal with, it's a great van. But when the deal was all set and done we were told that there was only one key fob, sorry, he forgot to mention it before the price was set. A few days later I get an email and a snail mail from the general manager stating they want to make me 100% satisfied, so I called him about the key fob. I was told sorry, sometimes used cars only have one key, that's the way they are sold. The next day the salesman said I could buy a key at his discounted price of $160, programming is another $50. I found one at a local key shop for $74, programming is $45. Needless to say I'm not satisfied, but I guess that's what the used car experience normally is.
Do not trust these folks in the service department with your vehicle repairs. I have met some incompetent people in my life, but when so called mechanics forgot to put fluids in our vehicle..not once, but twice which resulted in $2000 repairs elsewhere, there are just no positive words for this. It's too bad this site requires a star rating because in reality they deserve a negative rating.
I purchased a used car from this dealership and within 3 days it was not operational. I paid almost $20,000 for the vehicle. They worked on it for three months only to tell me it couldn't be fixed but they would put me in something else. They did but gave me 2500 less for it then what I paid for it. So basically I paid them $2,500 to not have a car to drive for three months. I'm very unhappy and won't purchase another car from this dealership EVER!
Treats you well, especially for as big as it is. All staff have been courteous. Disability and (older) senior citizen accessibility is fair. I would like their service hours posted on the internet.
