VERY BAD BUSINESS



Mr. Joe Schlatmann calls our company on May 4, 2010 looking for Security Services for May 6, 2010 from 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. At the Hampton Inn-Mall of Georgia in Buford, GA. Mr. Schlatmann stated “he only needs One Security Guard to secure One Floor in the building. Hampton-Inn had their own Security for their hotel.”

We sent him the Invoice to confirm the contract, however; Mr. Schlatmann never replied. The contract stated “Please Sign & Fax back invoice to confirm your Event”



This event was schedule at short notice, as stated on All invoices; Checks must be giving 5 days before Event. Hampton-Inn event was in 2 DAYS, his invoice stated “Must Pay Up-Front with Cash Payment, Checks Must be giving 5 days before Event! Returned Checks will have a $35.00 Fee. If your Check can’t clear before Event, you must pay cash or your event will be cancelled. Make all checks payable to: Tittle’s Elite Security”



Also, stated on Mr. Schlatmann cover sheet under comments: Because of short notes client must pay cash to Security Guard. Event is to take place on Thursday May 6, 2010 at 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Please Sign & fax back your invoice to confirm you event. If you have any questions, contact us.



Mr. Schlatmann Called on May 6, 2010 to confirm event, never once did he fax back invoice. Hampton-Inn bill would have been $200.00 for 8 hours, Mr. Schlatmann said, that was too much. However; we gave Hampton-Inn a Discount, their fee was only $160.00.



I asked Mr. Schlatmann who would be the contact person; all guard must have a contact person. Mr. Schlatmann said, “He was the contact person,” however; when Security Guard arrived at 10:30 P.M. he went to Reception Desk Mr. Schlatmann was not there, meaning no contact person.



Receptions called Mr. Schlatmann as well as the guest, Christie Lewis from the Grey Middle School. Mr. Schlatmann took over 1hour to call back. Security Guard called office to infirm the problem; guest spoke to Security Guard stated “She paid Mr. Schlatmann for security services already.”



Guest, Reception Ladies, and Security Guard had to wait until Mr. Schlatmann to call back. Security finally spoke to Mr. Schlatmann he stated “If you leave, he will loss $1200.00, he will come in the morning to pay the $160.00 cash. Also, Mr. Schlatmann and Reception asked Security to secure Lobby, Two Floors.”



Security Guard called Office again, he stated “There wasn’t any Security and they needed him to secure the Lobby and Two Floors, Mr. Schlatmann won’t have the cash until 7:00 A.M.” I stated to Security Guard “I know this job needs to have at less 2 guard, however; if possible can you stay for the job. We decided because their where children involved Security will stay for the event. Security will go every 30 minutes to secure, Lobby, Both Floors and to call Office every 2 hour to report statues of job.”



Mr. Schlatmann arrive at 7:30 A.M. and spoke with Security Guard, he said; “He didn’t have the cash and he will give him a company check.” Security Guard stated “Make check out to Margo Tittle and he was unprofessional about his Business. Also, he will never come back to Hampton-Inn in Buford, GA for Security Services.”



Security Guard called Office with Up-Dates; it took Security 3 hour to arrive back to Office because of Mr. Schlatmann tardiness. When I looked at the check the company name was from “Ashford TRS Pool I LLC DBA Buford Hampton Inn Manager’s Operating Account. Pay to the order of Margo Tittle $160.00.



Fair to say the Check did clear, we have been in business for over 20 years. This is the first time we had a problem with a company. I guess it was our turn to get the bad Deal; we try our best to please our customers.
