Boys & Girls Clubs of America is a social welfare organization that maintains one of its locations in Bullhead City, Ariz. It offers programs in the areas of education, health and life skills development, careers, leadership development, athletics, and drug, pregnancy and gang prevention. The organization provides CareerLaunch, which is a mentoring program that includes taking Internet-based surveys, identifying training and college requirements, and obtaining financial aid for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18. Its Project Learn includes activities, such as leisure reading, writing, homework assistance and games for youths cognitive skills development.
