Desert Oasis Medical Center

The staff are friendly and helpful, there's plenty of seating and never a long wait to see the doctor or get in. They always work with me when I call and ask questions and don't waste my time. My only complaint is I feel rather rushed when I do get to see the doctor, and no actual physical examination has actually taken place. I've only gotten referrals and medication refills, it makes me feel like I'm an inconvenience, and my health is not truly important to him. I'd like a firm handshake at the end of the appointment and at least a 'have a nice day' while looking me in the eye. I want to be able to respect this doctor just a little more instead of just rushing in and being hurried out. I suspect that maybe its a cultural thing. Maybe its not important to shake hands and have direct eye contact to make a good connection with the patient where he's from, or perhaps he has a problem with touching people. Whatever the reason, social skills are important for a people oriented business like the healthcare field, and these comments are not meant to hurt, but to help. Other than that, the clinic is great and I have no other complaints.
