Khatib Family Practice

Dr. Khatib and staff are amazing and so very caring. I am so grateful for Dr. and his staff. This practice is top notch and I highly recommend them to you.

By far the best, most experienced, compassionate and friendly doctor I have ever been to. The front office and back room staff are great people and I look forward to each visit. Dr. Khatib has a great personality and a gift for understanding that women and men have different symptoms for the same diagnosis. He works well with you to get you well again and if he needs a second opinion or feels you should see a specialist he is not shy in sending you to one. I can't say enough about how much I love Khatib Family Practice.

His wife is one of the rudest people I have dealt with. After having a "suspicious" mammogram.. I had to have a biopsy done. I asked her if someone would call me when they got the results.. her answer.."PROBABLY"!! I could not believe that! When I next saw Dr. Khatib, I told him what she said.. He said nothing. My husband and I decided to change doctors..but before we could, he sent us each a letter basically "firing" us as patients. He is so afraid to prescribe anything for you.
My opinion... look elsewhere for a primary care doc!

I spent three years finding out what this doctor is not. He has zero compassion. At this point after a ten day hospital stay my husband had we found Dr. Khatib's true colors. He did not consult with the consulting urologist regarding a biopsy but just went ahead and ordered one to be done. Luckily the urologist got to the hospital and cancelled the biopsy. My husband was extremely ill and I spent every day at his side. I had to take leave without pay from my job but due to the incompentcy of some of the staff at WARMC I felt the need to stay with my husband so I asked Dr Khatib to sign my FMLA form of which he staed he could do so for $35.00. Outrageous!! I could not afford to miss time from work finacially but could not afford to not be at the hospital due to nurses not calling doctors when my husband was vomitting blood much less they just flushed the vomit rather than send a sample to the lab for testing. Of course this nurse was removed from working this floor. We almost quit using this doctor 8 months ago when he began not allowing me in the room with my husband during his three month exams. I need to be in the room due to my husbands hearing loss and attention span and due to me not being allowed in we missed the increase in blood pressure medication. Needless to say we have fired this Doctor Khatib and his rude staff!! I would not send a dog to this doctor!!

I am amazed this doctor still has a license. Do research, he has had more malpractice lawsuits and or complaints than any other doctor in the Tri-State area! He is rude, extremely bias against women and forget getting any help whatsoever if you are plus sized or even slightly over-weight...in his mind if you are overweight it is the ONLY cause for any and all ailments you may have. Wish I could say his staff is any better but alas I cannot. They are also rude and condescending. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this doctor.
