On Jan 4, at approx. 9:30am I entered Imaging Diagnostic 1245 Hancock Rd. Bullhead City for a CHEST X-RAY, was informed the wait was 2 hours plus, they took only walk-in, no resv. I left returning to Laughlin. I returned at 3:30pm was told there were only 4 people ahead of me and to wait, which I did, at 3:50pm I was called, only to be told by ASHEY my insurance company would take another 30 min to respond with a fax...about 5 min later, the door was being locked, and was informed I could return the following morning. Obviously the reason for this facility not taking me was not the "so called delay of my insurance", but the fact their were closing. Returning home, I called my insurance company, they reported no call nor request for fax From ASLEY OF WESTERN ARIZONA REGIONAL 1245 Hancock Rd. Bullhead City was received. The following morning ASHLEY called with totally incorrect information regarding my insurance company at that point, I requested her to destroy my paper work, and I would be writing a letter of compliant to the administrator. Pure incompetency and lack of integrity on the part of Ashley representing Western Arizona Regional Med, Ctr. This statement of fact on this situation represents a lack of confidence and hopefully will spare others of loss of time, stress and grief.

I tried for two days to fax a UGI barium swallow to their scheduling department, and was very persistant. I had the ER fax it, and called numerous times throughout the day to see if they had gotten it, or had found it or tracked it down. Nothing came of it. So I called my doctor and had them fax the order to them, personally, after talking to the girl very respectfully and asking her to call me immediately when they received it, so I could finally schedule my appointment, I decided to call myself, knowing they close at 4:00 and I didn't want to have to wait another day before getting my appointment. At 3:51 the phones were turned off and all I got was a 'leave a message or you can be transferred' recorded message, after I had been working on this all day, and had JUST TALKED TO her five minutes before. It wasn't even 4:00 and they are already leaving for the day and turning off the phones for people to leave messages? It's common curtosey to follow through when your working with someone on something you had just been talking to them about. It's a QUALITY OF CARE issue. And I am DEFINITELY going to complain when I am finally able to preserve and get this procedure done, I've put too much effort into this to give up now, and believe me I know my rights. I don't recommend this place, and if you have the misfortune of having to go here, you'd better have your information ready and the knowledge to handle the beauracratic bs.
