I am not a Thai food lover but the pumpkin pad Thai is actually really good. I love the combination of spices.
Love the delicious Thai dishes here, for lunch, dinner or take-out. My favorites are the Pad Thai, curries, and Thai Tea! I will always go back for more! It's not too loud, too, which is really nice so I can hear the person I'm having lunch with talk.
We love Chadaka Thai. Mmm, spicy grilled calamari. Their cocktails and appetizers are a steal at $5 during happy hour. 4-7, even on weekends. I'm always surprised that this place isn't busier, the food is so fresh and tasty.
This is a great place. The food is delicious and the drinks are amazing. Happy hour is really good to here. My favorite drink is the French kiss, it's absolutely delicious.
Amazing Thai curries.A step up from the usual Thai low key in and out place.Date night here is casual yet intimate.Nice outdoor seating in downtown Burbank
This is even close to authentic Thai food, but never the less, it's very good and me and my family have eaten here many, many times and the food is very consistent.

Provided by CitysearchWow must say came here with my friend the other day and the food was amazing. Loved the crying dragon.
I like food in Chadaka Thai a lot even though they are not true authentic Thai food. The "crunching tiger" (the steak) was excellent and their Phat si-io with Tofu was great too. The atmosphere was great there but everything is quite pricy.
Very nice restaurant. Great food. Good price
Best spring rolls and Drunken noodle in LA.

Provided by CitysearchI really like Thai Food. I live in Burbank and so Chadaka Thai would be an obvious location to try out. I went with my boyfriend for lunch. He ordered a Chicken Curry dish and I had a Green Beans / Shrimp dish. The food was decent, I especially liked my boyfriend's dish. I find my entree a bit too spicy though. *and I can eat above average spicy-ness*
Now, having relocated to Los Angeles recently from Indiana, I would consider this really good Thai Food. But compare to Hong Kong or Thailand... Err... It's OK at best.
Bottomline : will be back!

Provided by CitysearchChadaka thai has good food. however it is a more high end gourmet kind of thai food instead of more traditional family style cuisine. It was good food but not the best

Provided by CitysearchIts high time they shut this place down. Used to be good when they started. They started degrading on a downhill and yesterday was my worst experience.
Hoping to have a fulfilling sunday lunch, we walk in at around 12:30 and find ourselves alone. The crew was yapping inside the kitchen and we had to yell for a hello.
We asked for the food to be extra spicy. The panang curry was sweet, the eggplants in it seemed to be a last minute raw addition. The fried rice was devoid of any vegetables, for a vegetarian fried rice.
We paid 65$ for a lunch of 3 entrees, one starter and iced coffees.Such a waste!

Provided by CitysearchI'm a regular customer here. Been coming to Chadaka for nearly 3 years. This place never disappoints. I particularly enjoy sitting at the half-moon bar for a drink and dinner on weeknights. The food is fresh and fabulous, the ambiance is trendy yet cozy, and the owner there is incredibly attentive. Lychee martinis are to die for, and it also makes for a great date spot, too! As far my fav dishes go, I would probably say Crab Noodels & Crying Tiger... I have referred so many friends to this place and all have been very pleased. Check it out for yourself!

Provided by CitysearchChadaka Thai was a breath of fresh air compared to our only other Thai experience in LA which was on Brand Blvd. Chadaka had great music, ambiance, and decor. Very hip. The food was fresh, clean, and tasty. Good portions too! I love the Tom Kha and the curry. The service was average. Friendly, but not exceptional. It was more the experience of an urban chic atmosphere. A great place to enjoy a New Year's Eve dinner, I wish I would have known about the party after, would of got there a little later.

Provided by CitysearchThere weren't any staff in sight when we entered. The restaurant is well decorated, it looked clean and neat. The place settings do not include knives! There weren't any knives on any of the tables, only forks. When we asked for some, they only brought one, so it turns out we had to share. The waitresses were dressed very unprofessionally. One had a sweet-sixteen dress on, and the other one was wearing a knit shirt as a dress. The food was pretty good, but got cold quickly. I would, however, recommend the peanut sauce chicken skewers with cucumber relish. The chicken curry was tasty, a little too watered down for my taste. Also, liked their ""champagne cocktails"", such as, their Maui Sunrise. Their happy hour prices are great: $5 per appetizer and $4 for cocktails.

Provided by CitysearchI love Thai food and the food at Chadaka's is tasty. However, beware... I got very ill after eating bad shrimp at the restaurant and will never return to eat there. I love thai food and the best thai restaurants in my opinion are hole in the wall thai places; and the employees there are usually way nicer. Don't let the elegant look of Chadaka's fool you. If you get sick the employees of the restuarant will not acknowledge it!

Provided by CitysearchWhile the atmosphere is modern and trendy, the food does not live up to the promises. The soup was saltier than the Dead Sea, so I had to return it; fortunately the next attempt was okay. But while I was still busy with the soup, they pushed the main course on me and tried to take away my wife's soup while she was still eating. And then the beef turned out to be like rubber. What a waste of time and money!

Provided by Citysearchtheir meat was livery tasting and tough! What is it with thai restaurants in particular using cheap subsitutes. Their recipes are good, everything else was tasty, but the meat in both orders was well below average, more like street market quality meat. I AM NEVER GOING BACK
