        Martin H. Kay, Ph. D., MD is a Dermatologist with over 25 years of experience. Dr. Kay uses his strong science background in research to provide his patients with the most effective and safe treatments to date. His training and interests span 15 years teaching Pediatric and Surgical Dermatology to residents at USC medical college. He was one of the first American dermatologists to offer laser treatments, liposuction, chemical peels, sclerotherapy, and other cosmetic dermatology treatments. Dr. Kay has dedicated his career helping people with their skin problems for an overall healthier appearance. Dr. Kay treats all his patients as if they were family. His patient’s health and well-being are his primary concerns. Dr. Kay earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York in 1971. He earned his Ph.D. degree in biochemistry at Tulane University in New Orleans in 1977. Dr. Kay then studied medicine at SUNY-Downstate Medical College and earned his MD degree in 1982. He interned in Internal Medicine at Baylor Medical College in Houston from 1982 – 1983 and completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Texas Medical School from 1983 – 1986. Dr. Kay is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and has fellowships with the following organizations: American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society of MOH’s Surgery, American College of Phlebology (veins) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Kay’s educational background, teaching, and extensive research have led him to publish articles in medicine and dermatology. He has given dozens of community and medical colleague lectures worldwide as well as volunteering at many free skin cancer clinics. He is currently an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Southern California and at the Western Medical College in Pomona.

        He heard all my concerns and is very detailed! Office staff very friendly and helpful. They do work fast, but I understand. They see tons of patients and during covid... they may be short staffed...

        OVER THE TOP BEST DERMATOLOGIST!!!

        Dr. Bak is an amazing Dermatologist! Personal, friendly, kind, considerate, professional, proficient and really cares about her patients. This was my second visit to freeze dry ugly moles and tags and I am so happy to have found her! I will keep her as my Dermatologist the rest of my life!
