The Camp Verde Marshal's Office preserves peace and reduces crime through the enforcement of local, state and federal laws. It maintains patrol, traffic enforcement and K-9 units. The office s support services division has criminal investigation, communication, records and animal control units. The Camp Verde Marshal's Office employs various school resource officers and volunteers. It provides various community-oriented services, such as vacation and neighborhood watch, child fingerprinting, security surveys and law-related education. The office operates a citizens police academy that educates residents and youths regarding the structure and activities of the office. The Camp Verde Marshal's Office also registers and investigates complaints against police officers. It is comprised of more than 35 employees. The department is located in Camp Verde, Ariz.
