It's too much

It was the first time I took a cooking class for crepes. The place was very cosy and the teachers were great - very helpful and patient - and real French!!! Oh la la! And the crepes? YUM! A wonderful experience. It took me back to memories of my first French crepe in Paris....
I would recommend it to anyone.

The location inside the French Market is great - Flip is the only crepe stand, and I love how clean, bright and cheerful this place is.

I was bummed that I missed the a.m. crepes by just a few minutes because I really wanted to try the Mushi Mushi, but luckily there were many good savoy crepes on offer for me to choose from.

I had a hard time deciding what to order because everything looked so delicious, but I finally settled on the Atlantic Flip. I have never had smoked salmon in a crepe, and although the fish was fresh, it didn't seem to taste right in a crepe with garlic and herb cheese. Somehow the combo just didn't work.

I really love Flip's concept though - healthy buckwheat crepes - local and fresh ingredients. I will definitely come back to give it another try. The B.B.Q. chicken and Brie and Fig looked really good and so did the Apple Caramel on the dessert side.
