Client was falsely accused of child molestation and was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department for an allegation that he had molested a minor under the age of 14 years of age. At the time, the mother and father had been going thru a bitter child support case with a history of a bitter divorce. Mr. Kita was able to bring in witnesses for the DA to interview as well as evidence for the Senior Sex Crimes Juvenile DA to review. In addition, Mr. Kita participated in a meeting along with his client, and his parents. Mr. Kita was able to convince the DA that there was reasonable doubt as to the allegations. Prior to working in the Hardcore Gang Unit, Hall worked in the Auto Insurance Fraud Unit. Among her notable cases she prosecuted was a 44 year old Swedish businessman who crashed a $1 million red Ferari Enzo that split in half in Malibu. The defendant in that case Bo Stefan Ericksson was sentenced to three years in state prison for embezzlement and felon in possession of a gun. The defendant reportedly drove his car in excess of 160 mph and was under the influence of alcohol when he totaled the $1 million dollar Ferari. The vehicle were leased by the defendant from a British financial institution. The defendant had previously served a five year prison sentence in Sweden in 1994. The defendants $5.2 million dollar home was seized and taken over by a court appointed receiver. The case received national attention due to the rarity of the Ferrari Enzo that was involved in the case.

In December 2003, one juvenile suffered multiple puncture wounds to his lower leg when a California Youth Authority guard allowed his dog to attack a juvenile inmate who was following orders and lying on the floor. In an effort to clean up its bad image, the California Youth Authority decided to ask Prosecutors to file criminal assault charges against that officer.

On May 16, 2014, Robyn Palmer was arrested on 14 felony counts of insurance fraud, forgery, wire fraud and grand theft. She filed a claim and received disabilty insurance benefits for a shoulder injury she said occurred in July 2013 while restraining a minor in juvenile hall. Because there was no employee record of a work related injury, an investigation ensued. She is currently in custody at the Lynwood jail with bail set at $100,000.00.
