Desert Gardens RV Park

We stayed here last year while selling at a local Florence SCA (society for creative anachronism) event for one week. This RV park is an oasis in the middle of the desert! Truly one of the most beautiful places we've stayed in our 16yrs. on the road.



This is a fairly new facility, but you won't notice that for all the well laid paths thru the immediately surrounding area, the exceptional landscaping, and the overall WOW factor of being in the middle of the desert at this gorgeous park.



The price for a week was quite reasonable, in my mind, and the managers and other staff were just wonderful to us. The laundry is clean, new and well maintained. The office staff is knowledgeable of the area and directed us to several really nice little restaurants right in Florence!



We were at the event most of the day , but usually got back in time for the very end of sunset, and to watch to moon rise over our RV.......Just enough low light around to feel safe when out & about, but not enought to interfere with the stargazing and moon watching.



My husband & I just loved this place and plan on making this a stopover at least once a year for a long time to come.
