Marti And Liz

I have been a loyal customer of Marty and Liz's and I have never had a problem with any shoes I bought. They have great name brands and the prices can't be beaten. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often.

Last Wednesday (12/14/16), I purchased a pair of Skechers boots from the Kingston Pike store. They cost almost $35 with tax. I wore them to work on Friday. I have a desk job, so it isn't like I dig ditches all day. Saturday morning, I was going to wear them again when I noticed that the outer layer had started peeling away and was cracking all over the boots. I made a special trip to the store to see about getting a store credit or something. The manager was gone for the day at 4 p.m., so I left my name and phone number for her to call me so we could work out something on the boots. It is now Tuesday (12/20) afternoon, and I have yet to hear from her. I called again about half an hour ago, & the manager had stepped out after coming to work at 11 a.m. I felt like I was being lied to when I was told she wasn't there. I have bought many pairs of shoes at this store since they opened. The snotty girls out the check out counter said they couldn't verify the shoes had been purchased there because the markings had already worn off the soles. This was total BS, plus I had saved the receipt. So now it looks like I have been ripped off of money I can certainly use this time of year. If I don't hear back from the manager today, I will never step foot in the store again.

On a recent visit to this store, I found the sales personnel to be rude and unprofessional. There are too many other shoe stores in the Cool Springs area with decent prices on new shoes and friendly staff to be treated with so poorly at this store.
