Vittles Restaurant

This place is horrible. I went in last week and ordered Chicken and Dumplings with cabbage and white beans. While I waited for my meal I was disturbed by the gathering of what appeared to be the owner and her employees. They were eating and gossiping and getting up occasionally to handle food without washing their hands. My waitress went out front and smoked a cigarette while I was STILL waiting. She came back in while the owner was screaming from the kitchen and served my food, again, no hand washing. The store bought dumplings were still frozen in the middle and the veggies were clearly canned. The corn bread was "home made" but bland and over baked. After eating at the location in Brentwood, this was a serious disappointment! The Vittles in Brentwood is great but they have spread themselves too thin with this hole in the wall in Donelson. FAIL!
