Home Care Assistance

No one ever thinks about needing assistance for a family member that has gotten sick or been hurt. At least I didn't! I had no idea what to do when my Mom got sick, but I knew I could not leave her alone. I called several places that wanted to get back with me, but they did not take the time to ask me all the right questions. I did not know this until I called Home Care Addistance in Hot Springs. The took the time to find outwhat condition my Mom was in and how much care she would require. i felt very comfortable leaving her in their hands. Peace of mind is what I think of when I think of Home Care Assistance.

My mom was getting released for the hospital and needed someone to help her out around the house. I live two hours away and work 50 plus hours a week so their was no way.I could stay with her. I looked into different home care agencies and without a doubt the best one I found was Homecare Assistance. They really care about Mom's well being,from the care giver to the office staff they are amazing. When I couldn't get up there to take her to a wedding the staff at Homecare assistance drove her 3 hours to her nephews wedding for me. They go out of the way to make sure she is taken care of and most of all happy.

My wife Carol had a hard two-year struggle with incurable cancer, declining steadily until life was hardly more than a pin-hole. The last year I arranged for a caretaker for weekdays, and had help from my daughters, but in the final month they needed help as well and I was no longer able to handle weekends and nights. We contacted Home Care Assistance, who provided round-the-clock attendants. I cannot really find the words to say how wonderful they were: highly competent, comforting and caring, endlessly patient and reassuring. They became family friends. Carol passed away -- thankfully, in peace -- clutching in her hand a little soft animal that one of the attendants had given her. It was symbolic of the relationship that had developed. I cannot praise and thank them enough.
