Lakeside Family Health Center

I stayed with this clinic because how good Dr. Bierer was. Their window receiving staff was not always good and one time I did seek out another med office but could not find doctor better then Dr. Bierer. I complained about the staff. Eventually, the desk staff was replaced. It took years to get a good staff, but now on the phone or in person the staff is very friendly and easy to communicate with. Now I highly recommend this family clinic.

Wonderful providers! Caring staff!

I asked around when moving to the Whitemountains for a Dr, and was told that Dr. Bierer was wonderful. So when I call to make a new patient appointment and was told I would have to wait a month I said ok. I waited my month, took time off from work to go to the appointment, driving 45 minutes to get there. Of course luck would have it the day I was leaving from work I was delayed by employer and also had some difficulties finding the facility. I called Lakeside Family Health Center, to let them know I was running about 10 minutes behind… The person on the phone said, “let me see, I don’t think that we can get you in… have paperwork you need to fill out and the Dr. has appointments 15 minutes for new patients.” This was the first time I was hearing about 15 minute apointments and was a bit taken back. I explained the situation and asked I could please come by and at least start the process, maybe someone else could be running late and they could work me in. (I was now 5 minutes away). I arrive no with no one in the waiting room or counter. I waited and a worker came to the window. I told them who I was; the worker said “you’re late”. I said I know, I just called and spoke to someone… the worker repeated” but your late, and we have already lost the 15 minutes of our money”.



I t was at this point that I left. If you would like to be treated like a number or some fast food sandwich the by all means go to Lakeside Family Health Center. I can respect wanting to run a success business/practice but I believe that profit have been place before the care of people.
