Lakeside Cafe

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star! I think they are in desperate need for Gordon Ramsey to rescue them in the show Kitchen Nightmares!! The waitresses don't even seem to know which tables they should be serving. I ordered a burger to cooked to medium, it was well done, not medium. They couldn't cook steak well either. The other two people I was with had to send back their steak due to being cooked wrong and one of them was the wrong cut of meat! Seriously! When they got their steaks back, they still were not cooked right. My StepMom complained and said please remove my steak from the bill, I give up. Then she heard the waitress complaining to another waitress about her. This place is very unprofessional and do not know food or service! We will never go back to this place!

Seating was prompt, after that it was down hill. I ordered a med-rare 1lb porterhouse, which came out a med-well 12oz t-bone at best and my mother in law ordered the prime rib special, it also came out med-well. I can understand over cooking meat, but serving the wrong cut, thats just bad. We both sent our meat back, I asked for mine rare hoping to get it med-rare, nope still over done, but at least it was the right cut of meat this time (a 5 dollar difference) the prime rib came out perfect...but was ice cold...not even warm. I know timing is difficult, but wrong cut of meat and ice cold prime rib, bummer.

i was really craving a burger about a week ago. had to drive down to lakeside, you have the best burgers and fries in the county. i am so glad to have found you.

Best fish tacos I've ever had. Friendly service and huge portions. A family atmosphere. Will dafinately return

My wife and I recently ate at this dump and probably would never go back. The staff was friendly but the manger didn't really care about what going on in her "cafe". After we waited a while for our food to come out we ask to speak to manger/owner she eventually came over to our table and was really rude and quick to point the finger. She didn't care about anything but making that o'mighty dollar. I cant believe someone would conduct a business like that.

Well on 5/29/08 we went to Lakeside Cafe for dinner, we order a grill cheese sandwich and a county fried steak dinner. 45 Mins. later we still did not get our food. All we got to hear is it is coming, the palce was not that busy. What made it real bad is the manager walk in and could see there was a problem But rather then taking care of it she decide to go and visit with freinds and tell everyone and show off her new outfit. My wife and I got upset and cancelled our order and paid for our drinks and left. This is not the first time this has happen but you write letter to the owners and they will not even write you back and say they are sorry for what happen. I think all she is worried about is making money and the hell with the service that they put out. This will be the last time and i am sending a copy of this to every local channel that does reviews of eating places what the service like when you go there to eat.

Excellent service. Friday fish and breakfast...not to be missed.
