Fat Boys Barbque

This is located in a small strip mall type of location with plenty of free, easy parking. Its easy to get in and out of with no traffic issues unless you go there when the school down the street is letting out around 3 pm ish.
I have had the pork and beef sandwiches and I preferred the pork as it seemed to have just a little more tenderness and flavor to me but both were excellent. I love the ribs so they are my go-to and their hot bbq sauce is awesome. I don't ally care for the other sauces as they seem a little to bland and sweet to me but once you really, really like one sauce it is really hard to like the others or so it seems to me. The service is always quick and friendly. Sometimes it is packed because it is a kind of small location but the service is spot on anyway. They treat you like you are family. I did see one guy got out of line with the waitress because they were out of whatever he wanted and she gave him a free drink to shut him up quickly and everyone around had a giggle at how quick the waitress squashed his complaint with sweet southern charm. They don't serve alcohol which is fine and their portions are a good size so you don't leave there hungry. The price is always consistent with the portions so you don't get ripped either like you do at some other bbq places.
Reservations are not required and I don't think they even take reservations at all but get there early if you go for lunch. They tend to be very busy at lunch.
For a small family owned BBQ place that is not a chain, this is a good choice for BBQ. I wish it was not so far from my office or I would go more frequently but on beautiful sunny days, its nice to take the drive and get away from the office.
