Come if you like cheap food&drinks and won't be bothered by bad service. The servers are mostly young pretty girls trying to make it in Hollywood who don't care about customer service or actually waitressing and the staff change almost every week (not to say that all industry girls are like that as I've been to places where they knew what they were doing and was well trained but I think this place doesn't really train their staff as long as they are easy on the eyes) order everything at once because it's almost impossible to get your waitress to come back (although they arnt really doing anything) oh and 15% gratuity is included if your bill is over $100

Provided by CitysearchBig Wang is an awesome restaurant! The food it offers is delectable, and drinks are inexpensive! Definitely a wonderful spot for a relaxing night out in town. Highly recommended to all the yuppies in the area.

Provided by CitysearchThe man who owns this restaurant is a racist against Black people and that is unacceptable in my book. The location I use to go to was on Lankershim in the NoHo District of North Hollywood. Is he a nut, or does he realize that a lot of his customers are Black? Well after they see this review I hope they will never eat there or any of the Big Wang restaurants again. I will tell everyone I know to Boycott that chain of restaurants. He will never get to heaven unless he apologizes because GOD is love of all races of people and GOD does not want any people with demonic spirits around them in heaven...

Provided by CitysearchI do not like their food. The owner unfortunately made some ignorant statements against a black man on The Next Great Restaurant. Watch yourself on YouTube.
Don't support ignorance!

Provided by CitysearchIt took 20 min for a waitress to take our order. A beer and an Ice tea, her name was Amanda. It took 15 min for her to get back to us with the tea and told us the beer would be out in a sec. I said sure can we get the check. She returned 5 min later and said they didn't have that beer and asked if I wanted it removed from the check. I said yes, then we left. It wouldn't have been so insulting if she wasn't chatting with her friend at another table the whole time. This was mid day shift around 5pm.

Provided by CitysearchAfter seeing the owner (Joe Barker) make that unbelieveable racist comment (aimed at Black people) on the NBC reality show ""America's Next Great Restaurant"", I wouldn't even park my car in Big Wang's parking lot if it had the last parking space available in Hollywood on a Saturday night. Besides, even the judges on the show thought his wings were unpalatable.

Provided by CitysearchPlease don't go eat at this restaurant. On tonight's season premier of ""American's Next Great Restaurant"", the owner of Big Wangs pitched an idea to the judges for a wing place (by the way, they didn't even like the wings and he did not get picked to be in the top 10). It was obvious he was a jerk to everyone but to top it all off he made an EXTREMLY racist remark towards black people. I hope people start boycotting this place and he goes out of business. This kind of ridiculous behavior cannot go rewarded. Make a statement - It's a wing place, there are tons of them in LA. Go to one that tastes better and doesn't have a backwards, racist, jerk as the owner.

Provided by CitysearchWent on a Sunday afternoon, wasn't too busy, but it took forever before someone came to take our drink order. Ordered some food too, BLT and a Burger, both were less than marginal just like the service. I know this is one place I will not go back.

Provided by Citysearchi'm like obsessed with buffalo wings lately... so, i got on citysearch and found big wangs... part of the ""best of citysearch"" i honestly don't know how big wangs got this title! the wings were tiny and weird looking... plus the service was really bad... i had to wait forever to order and then even longer for refills... i won't be going back there for my wing fix!

Provided by CitysearchThis is the most racist place i have ever been 2. i cannot tell you what the food was like because they didnt let me in. I was with 2 other people and they claimed his pants were too low... we just had got out the car and my friend is handicap with his hands and needed help. Mind you we were ALL dressed up!! When i looked in i saw one black person with a group of caucasions.. So in my eyes i guess they dont let black people in!!

Provided by CitysearchThis is a good place to go and watch sports, mainly Michigan State sports. They have alot of tv's outside of the bar area, and the food is pretty good, and reasonably priced.

Provided by CitysearchHollywood Big Wangs rocks. Wednesday's the wings are 25 cents each, I got 20 wings for 5 bucks, you can't beat that. The wings were kind of small but the hot sauce is kickin'. I've been there for Sunday night ""Bikini Bingo"" and have won twice! I got half off my entire check! after buying so many pitchers of beer, it came in handy, my check came out hella cheap! I had a great time a few weeks back when i played some rounds of 'flip cup'.
People in here are trippin', the security dudes in the front are coo as hell. The crowd is mixed, just a few fake trendy d-bag hipsters lol.
The North Hollywood one sucks though. It's not live enough yet, i was pretty bored in that location.

Provided by CitysearchI love that Citysearch listed Big Wangs' wings as Best of Citysearch. They're bad, bad wings. And odd-looking, like the chickens were shipped over from Chernobyl. I was curious to see whether or not Citysearch knew where the best wings in LA actually were -- they don't. The place I'm thinking of wasn't listed in their Top Ten. Glad to see that; it's crowded enough in Los Feliz as is.
Big Wang's has really managed to find a way to remind a lot of us of the sport's bars that we used to go to back home. Although it has gone a little downhill over the past year or two, it is still a great place to watch the game and have a drink among other people who aren't really that interested in doing the Hollywood thing. There's a reason why Big Wang's is busy on Christmas Day!

Provided by CitysearchBottom line...............DO NOT GO HERE! My friends stay away, and I should have followed The one in NoHo is the biggest POS of them all. The security guards are on a POWER trip, and the servers and bartenders aren't worth the 10% that society says we should tip. Or is it 15%???? regardless, they're awful!!!!!! Stay away

Provided by CitysearchIf you go to Big Wangs for the food, be aware that they have completely downsized their proportions.
I ordered a Momās Meatball and instead of having 4 giant meatballs, I got about 2 meatballs cut up into 3rds served up on a roll half the size of the original.
This is not cool. I will not ever go here again unless they change it back.
I personally discussed this problem with the owner of Big Wangās. He was standing right there when I asked why my sandwich was so small. He said they were trying to save money.
I donāt see how reducing the value of their product is going to earn them any loyalty. What a rip!
If you are going to downsize it, you better charge less. They still charge $10 for half of what you got before.
You never desecrate a classic! Nuff said.

Provided by Citysearchthis place rocks. the drinks are good, food is edible, service is kinda slow, but people are friendly.most of the bouncers there are awesome.cute guys, hot chicks it evens out. i don't know if the management changed since i've been there 'cause some of these reviews sound bad but it is an awesome sports bar, come on it wouldn't be packed if it really sucked. lost alot of brain cells in that place, good times.

Provided by CitysearchOf all the places that serve chicken wings in LA, big wangs has it poppin. The wings are SO cheap and SOOO good. Wednesday is my favorite night there. Happy hour with 25 cent wings. What could be better?
