Easy process to checking in with my Costco Travel reservation(far better deal than anywhere else). Picking out car was a breeze. Drop off was just as easy. Shuttle to and from airport was a 5-10 ride. Shuttles wait time was less than 5 minutes going each way.
I'd definitely rent from here again....thru Costco of course.
Smoothest operation I've ever seen. Even my teens commented on how well organized the system was. Pick up from airport was fast and efficient, we arrived at the Enterprise lot with a bus full of other travelers and the whole process of coming in and leaving the lot took exactly ten minutes. This is including the nice guys outside letting me pick my own choice of car within my category. One of the best experiences I had with Enterprise, and I rent a lot for work.
We had a death in the family in California. I checked out Avis first for a Chevy Impala. The price was $560.00 for 7 days. I thought that was a bit expensive so I checked out Enterprise Rent-A-Car at LAX. WOW, the price was 248.00 for 7 days. I was picked up at LAX delievered to Enterprise, immidiately sent to my 2017 chevy Impala which which extremely clean inside and out and ready to go. Couldn't have asked for more. Great riding and had all the extras to include GPS. I would highly Recommend Enterprise Rent-A-Car over Avis in a flat minute!
I've been using Enterprise for years. They are always easy and accommodating; check-out efficiency, vehicle selection, and friendly. This time, we had to fly to L.A. (from SFO) for a 3-day personal and business trip. The LAX office is large, and is always staffed with helpful and efficient personnel. We had booked a standard, as we were picking up elderly family, and we ended up with a brand new Chevy Impala. Leather seats and a comfortable V6 ride. The lady who put us in the car - Becka - was the best! Very nice, and she handled the selection and final paperwork with warmth and ease. The car was great, and so was Enterprise! Especially nice, was the use of my "Enterprise Plus" accumulated points which, basically, afforded us one free day!
I will always rent with enterprise from now on. I flew from DFW to LAX and had another rental waiting at Fox... however when I got to Fox I stood in line for 45 minutes only to find they wouldn't rent on my debit (I don't have a credit card). Then they refused to drive me back to the airport because I didn't rent with them. When we finally made it to Enterprise an hour and a half later, we were frustrated, tired and wet (it was raining out). The people at Enterprise were super accommodating, upgraded us for free because our car we paid for had a hold, and got us in and out in under 10 minutes. Not even kidding. It totally turned our day around. It was the easiest and most pleasant car rental we ever experienced and I'm forever a fan.
Low rating is primarily due to poor service. The shuttle driver (female) from the Enterprise location to the Airport on December 21st, 2016 at approximately 9pm had a very unfriendly and rude demeanor. The shuttle was parked at the entrance without a driver inside. I waited for 5 minutes when an Enterprise employee exited the entrance. I inquired when the shuttle would be leaving. She didn't answer. She then opened the door to the shuttled and entered. I began to follow her in, Very rudely, as she pointed over to the 'To Airport Shuttle' pickup spot, said "the shuttle will pick up over there". Mind you this was about 20 feet away from where we were currently standing. I then assumed that her shuttle must not have been the one making its way to the airport. I proceded over to the 'To Airport Shuttle' pickup spot. It was raining and there wasn't a clear path without walking in the rain and the bus stop shelter area was not free from the rain. I then watched the bus she boarded slowly move over to the 'To Airport Shuttle' pickup area (20 foot drive). She didn't pull right up close - actually kept the buss as far from the shelter area causing me to again walk in the rain. I'm pretty sure there's no rule that would have broke had she allowed me on the bus when she boarded, free from the rain. As other passengers boarded, she did not have a pleasant greeting or welcoming about her mannerism. Her name was not posted in the slot for the driver. She did not have a name tag on either.
Customer service upon arrival requires a lot of attention. Now that machines are on the floor, the agents chat away while the customer struggles with the machines. There should be a manager controlling the entrance so the employees can be instructed to to attend to the customers. Chatting time should be over the minute the first client walks in. That' the signal that more are coming. Enterprise at the Atlanta airport is very efficient and professional.
Went for a business trip and got an online quote that somehow doubled once I returned the car. Flew in to LAX and got on a shuttle (very quick and convenient). I got to the desk for the Plus members and the guy helping me was very polite. However he said that it would be ~$140 (I don't remember the exact $ amount). Which was a little higher than the previously $117 quote, which was expected so I agreed. I then went to inspect the car. I pointed out several scratches and dents which I was told were not big or deep enough to be a concern. I signed that we inspected the car and that I waived the additional insurance (or so I was told), I was of course in a hurry so I did not fully read the agreement (which was my error). She then printed out the receipt which was more than double what my estimation was, when I asked why, she said that they just hold that amount in case there are damages. So I agreed and left. When returning the vehicle, they pointed out damage to the car that they didn't previously report... (because I was told it wasn't an issue)... but that it was covered because I had the insurance.... WHAT?
I did not realize I was signing for extra insurance because that is not what I was told I was signing. So here I am being screwed from either end... either I agree to signing for the insurance and the "damage" is paid for (but causing my rental to be double from what I expected) OR I argue about not being told properly of this insurance and what I was signing and have to pay for the "damages" that she neglected to mark down despite her being made aware of it beforehand. Either way I'm taking a loss and Enterprise just lost my business and if I can manage it, the business from my Medical School.
I have been using Enterprise exclusively now for a few years, whenever I need to rent a car. What I like the most about them is how quickly they can process a reservation and have me in my car, even when a lot of renters show up at the same time. Their staff are always polite and helpful in every way and they do not hassle me to buy add-ons that I do not need.
I had just come from NOT getting a car at SIXT and was able to get one from Enterprise. They were very quick and efficient at getting me going to my car. This new service (for me) of having someone take you to your car was very nice. Gerald was the young man who helped me and he was very nice and helpful and I even got a nice upgrade for a lot less than I would have thought. It was an overal great experience for my sister, niece and I.
Even though this was a last minute reservation - both the young lady at the front counter and the young man who assisted with the selection of the car were very courteous. I really appreciate no having to wait in long lines for assistance. 5 Star Service on 10/14/16 @ 7:45 pm....
Fabulous experience. Checking in and getting the car, plus returning it, were super fast and easy! I was amazed at how streamlined the process is. NO waiting on lines!!! Of course, I rented during the week, but the system seemed able to handle a lot more people going through.
The folks at Enterprise LAX were helpful and gracious. I wanted a mid-size SUV, but got a big Ford Explorer. Other than driving a larger vehicle than I wanted, my experience at LAX Enterprise was good. I ended up driving the car home to Los Alamos, NM, and my experience returning the car there was not at all good, however. But that's not the fault of the LAX Enterprise people. . .
Rented a car on Friday afternoon at LAX. Shuttle was full but prompt and the staff at the Enterprise office was exceptional. Fast, professional and very pleasant. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and this place was busy. The young lady who actually walked us to our car was pleasant and very professional. Thanks!!
