The location is very good, is just 3 min from freeway and downtown historical center and 5 min. the hotel is sufficiently equipped to meet the needs of comfort (microwave, refrigerator, iron, coffee maker). the beds are very comfortable.
We booked the Comfort Inn because we have been pleased with Comfort Inns in the past plus a lot of places were booked up.
We arrived at 1:00 just to see if they could check us in before going to our conference. They readily checked us in at the front desk and were friendly and helpful with directions.
I go into Los Angeles inner city at least one a year. I am used to what an inner city looks like and wasn't willing to pay the $300--$400 a night for places a few streets down. The hotel is safe with gated parking.
The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, the hotel was located very near downtown but wasn't too expensive.

Very accommodating and helpful staff. Room was clean and neat. Accessible to transportation. Shops and eateries are just walking distance. I'll definitely recommend this inn.

I was in L.A. for the pac 10 tournament and stayed at this place due to the cheaper price and close location to Staples Center. The room was decent sized and clean. No complaints about the service.
This hotel was a nice surprise for the rate and was conviently located near downtown LA and had cheap ($2 per night) parking. I visited LA for a conference last month at the convention center, about a 20 minute walk from the hotel with a few places to grab a taco or hot chocolate from a local vendor and practice your Spanish on a local. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooms are pretty standard for an economy hotel, comfortable yet efficient. If you're looking to save money and a place to park overnight that won't break the budget, this is a good option. I'd stay again if I needed to be located close to downtown.

The staff was very helpful. It had an OK pool, quite good breakfast which is included in the price. Good for the price.

This hotel was really wonderful! It exceeded all out expectations; this really deserves to be a three or four star hotel.

Provided by CitysearchThe complimentary continental breakfast each morning was a nice freebie. The room was crowded each morning but I enjoyed the apple juice, bagels, bananas, tea and cold breakfast cereal.

Provided by CitysearchWhen we arrived, we requested that out two rooms be close-the staff worked it out so we could be right next door. The folks are friendly, the rooms were clean, and the location was very convenient.

Provided by CitysearchI have stayed in many Comfort Inn hotels and this one has by far been the best. The rooms are spotless and the service is superb. I will recommend this hotel to all visitors.

Provided by CitysearchI chose this hotel as it is close to USC (where I attend weekend classes). It provides accomodations at a reasonable price in downtown LA. It's proximity to Staples Center and other attractions are it's only pluses.

Provided by CitysearchI was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and orderly, well maintained, and it offered a breakfast and internet. I was able to walk to downtown without any problems. For the price and location it was definitely worth staying in this hotel.
