Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD)

LAPD (especially Officer Jackson) gives a LOUSY impression to tourists coming to L.A. He chose to focus on a lone, well-dressed female crossing from a convention center to a hotel...(HIGHLY suspicious of his MOTIVES) and NOT at all concerned with the fact that she (a doctor) was visiting from thousands of miles away. They also kept her license, only to return to the hotel later that night to ""return it,"" leaving her fearing further abuse.

You rewarded her visit to L.A. with a pedestrian citation requiring that she fly back to L.A. and make hotel accommodations in order to appear (possibly more than once if for safety school), or pay the astronomical TICKET and ""BAIL"" amount of nearly $200!!!

Oh, yes, for the next conference with hundreds of education professionals she plans, I'm SURE she will make certain it's held in L.A! (In your DREAMS!)
