Great place to stop and eat. I had a great time when I was here. I'd be coming back because their food is delicious.
Thank you for the great food. The food is also well cooked and priced accordingly. The staff is great. Nice job guys.
If you want the best Gyros in Los Angeles, you go to Papa Cristo's. Their Saganaki (fried cheese) is also really good. Almost everything I've tried there is amazing. It truly is a gem in the city.
They also have a deli with fresh bread, all sort of cold cuts, cheese, pastries or anything you can think of Greek you can get it from here. They have parking in the back, and a beautiful patio if you want to sit outside.
OPA!
This place is a hidden gem in Koreatown. Their gyros are to die for. Plus, they have a small store with goodies like baked bread and desserts.
Great place for greek cuisine! the place is very tasty and fresh, everything is made daily. Their baklava is very good, a little too sweet, but very good.

Provided by CitysearchPapa Cristo?s C&K Importing Company calls itself the Athens of Los Angeles, and for good reason. This taverna and specialty store has been the largest purveyor of Greek products in L.A. for over 60 years. Dozens of Greek wines line the west end of the store.
Across the way, the delicatessen cases display homemade hot pies, imported cheeses, fresh cuts of lamb, and over twenty varieties of its signature baklava. The center space is densely packed with pantry items like olive oils, jarred vegetables, spices, and much more. They do say never to shop on the empty stomach! So, we suggest hitting up the market after a nice meal at the taverna.

.... Oooook? Wait idk war to say sooo ya.
Or want to shop for some stuff. It's like having a meal with your big greek family.
One of my favorite places to shop and eat!
Go to their store and buy the fresh baguette with some cheese and greek salami
They have all kinds of spices on the back wall
and Papa Cristo is for real!
They now have shrimp simmered in garlic and onions... yummm ..dip in the sauce and eat with your fingers!
Reasonable prices and parking.
Wonderful deli and restaurant -- often with live music. My Greek friends give this place the authentic seal so that only adds to the appeal. The takeaway menu features great pizza and lamb chop combos. But we like to dine in and have fun.

Provided by CitysearchI just came back from a trip to LA and one of the things that keeps flashing through my mind is the soundtrack of Papa Cristos/ Delish food and fun ambiance. I will definately make it a stop on my next trip.

Provided by CitysearchThis is my favorite SoCal Greek restaurant. The steak kebabs are very tender and they're made out of filet mignon! It's hard to find something here I don't like. Other hits include the tzatiki and pitas. Don't forget to walk over to their store and grab a fresh baguette. Mmmm!

Provided by CitysearchI ordered catering for a group of 30 people; the quality, taste of the meat, freshness of the food were amazing. Large portions so I had a lot of leftovers. The baklava, greek salad, meat kebabs are to die for!

Provided by CitysearchI love their lamb kabab and their potatoes are so yummy I always end up eating too much. A sinful enjoyment. The indoor eating area is a bit noisy, but on a no-too-hot sunny day, out at the patio is rather nice.

Provided by CitysearchThis place needs to expand and be more service oriented like a true restaurant although they have counter order and carry-out too. I have no doubt it could be much more successful. The food is great and far from mediocre--Hey, if I could I'd eat there several times a week. Price is well worth the tasty food (meaning you'll mainly get cheap-to-moderate BARGAINS in taste). Note store items swing low and high, and the emphasis is on food in a no-frills dining hall sprinkled with object d'art, with a tiny patio area thrown into the mix. You may dress casual to upscale (not necessary so guess it depends on what you're celebrating) It's all about the food so you'll not want to enjoy it alone.

Provided by CitysearchThis is the food I grew up on. The meats are amazing and the dips and sauces are authentic. Everything from gyros to grilled squid is on the menu and all with the authentic Greek flavors. Papa Cristos is fun for a group and appropriate for a family.

Provided by CitysearchLow key casual atmosphere. Great Greek food with fresh tasting ingredients. A top lunch spot if you are in the area.

Provided by CitysearchMoving to Los Angeles from the East Coast I have found it difficult to find really good food (except for Mexican) however here it is. I love this place. It is similar to the Italian deli/family style restaurants back east.
Amazing Spanakopita and Souvlaki, ohh and the baklava. Best Bread I have had since I have been here and an amazing selection on Ouzo and Raki for brave. GO!

Provided by CitysearchI've been going to Papa Cristo's for years - ever since i can remember. The food is always delicious. The souvlaki is great and they have the best Gyros in town! They also have a wonderful Tzatziki sauce - very authentic. The service is always good and the people are very friendly. They also have a market (C& K Imports) where you can buy products from Greece and other countries. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
