Although the lines here are always long, it's worth the wait for the hot dogs. Chili dogs are especially delicious.

Provided by CitysearchClassic Hot Dogs. I come here when ever I get a chance. I really enjoy all their hot dogs. I hate how there's rarely ever parking around there so you need to do a lot of walking. And there is usually a big line.

Provided by CitysearchI'm not really a fan of high calorie diets but this one just warrants an exception! Great hotdogs and side of fries. You cant go wrong with pinks!

Provided by CitysearchFinally my family and I got three hotdogs from Pinks. I don't get it. Outside of the long line and chatting with the people in line, I don't get what's good about the hotdog. Okay it's clean and a landmark. Count me in and my family to continue looking for a good hotdog. It's not worth the hype or the wait. Oh the guacamole is the best we've had in SoCal.

Provided by CitysearchNo matter where you live in L.A., it'll be worth the drive to get yourself a Pink's chilli dog. An abundand, greasy, sloppy mess, it'll probably have you wanting a second one right away, so order two of 'em. Yes, the lines are long but they move quickly and there's a friendly rather than competetive feeling among everybody standing out in front on the sidewalk. The whole thing will be over before you know it (you won't want to sit around the patio chatting with your visiting in-laws), so make sure your Pink's stop is a mere pit stop on the way to your big night out. We're never disappointed!

Provided by CitysearchSome of the stuff is more about getting onto TV than having a great taste. The items can be just too complicated and even silly and hard to eat. But if you keep it simple you can get a really good dog. Just order wisely and enjoy.

Provided by CitysearchI STILL do not know what the big deal about Pink's is. I have eaten there occasionally over a 25 year period, and I shrug, ""eh?"" So they can dish out hundreds of boiled hot dogs every day. Waiting for 45-90 minutes does NOT make the dog any better. The dog is mediocre at best. Their chili is pretty good, although it has way too much cornmeal in it. It must be the anticipation and the wait. After 45 minutes in line with the odor of the dog wafting to your nostrils, the rabid line-waiters would eat cardboard dipped in bouillon and say it was great. It is not exactly romantic, but it is an ""I was there"" event. The monumental wait even makes you grateful if you find an open table, even if you have to overlook the caked on dried chili on it. I mean, DOdger Stadium and Costco both have a MUCH better hotdogs any day of the week. No mushy chili though.
