Republic Services Compton Transfer Station

Lately, I've believed myself to be in some sort of "shake-down" by this company. Out of the blue, I received a notice informing of a past-due charge of $5, to which a late fee of $25.00 had been attached.Two such notices came in one week, with a threat to terminate service to my rental property immediately. I called their "customer service" line, and,after being put on hold for 43 minutes, a woman from a call center in India/Bangladesh informed me that the charges would be removed. They were not. I have switched to a different company this week, Unless you have lots of time to spend on "hold" and don't mind dealing with what could seem like "extortion" tactics, don't use this company. On a positive note, I have no complaint about their pick-up service.

I ordered a temporary bin & pick up from Allied. First, they didn't drop the bin off on the scheduled date. Then, they were supposed to pick up every other day for a week long service. They only showed up once. I asked them to pick up the bin all together since they couldn't keep their commitment of actually picking up the trash, and they never showed up. It has now been over a week of me calling several times per day & receiving excuse after excuse as to why they won't pick up their bin. I cannot stress enough, just how horrible Allied Waste is. The customer service is abysmal.
