Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic is based on the premise that the nervous system controls and coordinates all functions in the body. This occurs through the integration of information to and from the brain. The brain receives and sends information by way of the spinal cord through the spinal nerves to the respective tissues and organs. Chiropractic addresses ‘subluxations’ which are misalignments of the vertebrae which cause interference of this information to and from the brain. In our office we offer many forms of chiropractic adjustments, using classic adjustive techniques as well as low impact and non-force techniques. Either way, these are safe, effective corrections of subluxations, the elimination of which helps maximize the body’s inborn ability to heal itself.

Applied Kinesiology
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a system that evaluates structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing combined with other standard methods of diagnosis. Manual muscle testing is utilized to evaluate the function of most major muscles in the body based on the premise there is a relationship between every muscle and a specific organ or gland due to our embryological development. With this information we can determine if a dysfunction is caused by a problem with the blood flow to the organ, lymphatic drainage, nutritional deficiency, toxicity, imbalanced flow through a specific energy meridian, an emotional block, cerebrospinal fluid disruption, or impedance of nerve flow. AK is a non-invasive system of evaluating body function that is unique in the healing arts and has become a dynamic movement in health care in its relatively short existence.
