It's hit or miss with this place. Ru San's is one of those chains that's inconsistent with the quality of food at each restaurant. For instance, Ru San's off of Windy Hill and Barrett Parkway range from mediocre to terrible depending on the day. However, the Buckhead location sells exemplary sushi on a day to day basis! I highly recommend Blusushi off of Cumberland Pkwy, but if you must have Ru San's, go to the Buckhead location and be wowed.

Having eaten sushi since I was about 24months old, and living in Japan for several years, I've had alot of sushi. The restaurant is not very clean looking (pieces of food sitting on the bar) and the sushi itself is very americanized. For example the Spicy Tuna Maki was made with a GARLIC sauce, not just made with but rather slathered in, since when is garlic such a large part of the sushi experience.
