        Solid breakfast spot, fresh pastries

        I ate breakfast at Cafe Eclectic this summer after driving all night to get from the Outer Banks to Memphis on a cross-country road trip (check out my trip blog, ""A Mini & A Map""). We arrived at the restaurant just as it opened, exhausted, hungry and in need of caffeine. Cafe Eclectic did the job, with an excellent selection of teas, fresh croissants for breakfast sandwiches, and great fresh fruit. Although not the best breakfast we had on our 6-week trip, it was a good find (kind of off the beaten tourist path in Memphis) and we'd go there again.
