I have been taking my car there for years. I took it last week. I bought a steering wheel cover and the auto parts place and they wouldn't put it on. I took it to Jap Car Care and they put it on. No charge and no hassle. Love the customer service. My mother has taken her car for years and loves the service.
Always been servicing our cars there for over 15 years,Carlos and crew are great, honest we ,would never take our cars anywhere else, cannot believe anyone would write anything bad about them i guess its the competition it has to because they cannot compete with there service, several times taken car in for recalls, been given a list of things my car needs, took my car there and did not need anything, thanks for servicing all our family cars for years, keep up the good work
Don't Touch My Car!!!
I'll glady jack it up myself without being jacked in the wallet.
Went to this place for routine maintenance and the guy at the counter asked if I wanted my cabin air filter changed too. I was like what??? My car doesn't have that. The guy insisted I did - I can't believe this guy was trying to charge me for work that doesn't even exists!!!
Came in again time thinking that I was just dealing with one idiot at the time for work that was a little more difficult - changing the driver side mirror. Mechanical work. I got quoted the same price as the dealership and on top of that they didn't even have the part. I was like go get the part, there's a dealership right down the block from here.
I left - why am I here wasting my time on a place that doesn't know what they are talking about and don't have parts. Started to read other reviews and saw alot of issues with this place and parts -
* not having parts
* make sure parts aren't missing from your car after getting work done here
* bad parts being put in making the car worse than before
OMG! I made it home! Thank you so much Japanese Car Care and Carlos! I live in Orlando, Florida and I was in Miami a few weeks ago visiting family and my car died on me. As you can imagine, I was scared what is was going to cost me to get my car repaired and get me and my car back home. Well, I called JCC and spoke to Denise and told her my situation - she told me no problem, they would be happy to help. She told me to ask for Carlos and he would help me. I arrived at JCC with my car on a tow truck and to my surprise a few hours later my car was in perfect running condition!!! Wooohooo! I even got a great deal! Whew, what a relief, especially since I didn't have much money to spend. I don't get down to Miami often, but I think I'll need to go down every few thousand miles to get my service done there - it's hard to find a a place you can trust and that is why I took the time to write this review. THANKS JCC!

Provided by CitysearchJapanese Car Care Crew, I appreciate their efficiency and honesty. These guys are the very BEST in Miami. A friend recommended them to me over 4 years ago and they have proved themselves to be competent, pleasant, professional and most of all honest people!!!

Provided by CitysearchOK, here's the story. I've been loyal to my mechanics (not Japanese Car Care) since I was in my twenties (I am now close to 50) and would not trade them for the world but, I have this friend who swears by JCC. I told him that I was happy with my mechanics but he insisted that I take my recently purchased (at the time) used Infiniti to them for a diagnosis. I had taken my car to my mechanics and aside from needing a back motor mount and a rear seal (both issues were not major by any stretch of the imagination) the car was perfectly safe and all they asked was that I keep an eye on my engine oil since the rear seal was causing a very minimal oil leak (I placed a piece of cardboard under the engine for two weeks every time I parked it so I could see how much oil was actually leaking).
Just to test my theory that these guys were not what they pretend to be, I actually paid the $90 plus(don't remember the exact amount) they charged me to diagnose my car and I told them nothing about me taking it to any other place previously for a diagnosis.
A whopping $3811.80 total! A laundry list of issues and problems that my mechanics had not detected nor had my very expensive OBDII scanner. I thanked them for their time, payed the diagnostics charge and left.
Three years later, I have not changed the motor mount nor the rear seal (I add a quart of oil every month and a half) and I've put over 25,000 miles on the car. I keep taking it to my trusted original mechanics and they themselves tell me that when I'm ready, to let them know and they'll do the work (zero pressure).
Moral to the story:
DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!

Provided by CitysearchSo happy to have found a trust worthy repair shop. I totally recommend it. They got the work done perfectly. I don't feel taken advantage of and that to me is PRICELESS!! My Honda is running like a brand spanking new car.. Yay

Provided by CitysearchI visited Japanese car care because they came highly recommended by a friend of mine. My Acura seemed to be missing and I couldn't figure out the problem.
When I got there I met Carlos, which is the owner of the shop. They are very friendly and it is a family owned business. He was nice and came out side to diagnose my car as soon as I arrived. He pinpointed the problem quickly and told me it would be ready in a few hours.
I dropped it off and as soon as it was done they gave me a call letting me know that it was ready for pick up.
It was a great experience and I highly recommend visiting them with any of your car needs.

Provided by CitysearchFor the same experience, go to the dealer or a tire kingdom. You'll get the job done but no savings here.

Provided by CitysearchThe 2 stars I gave is for the problem they successfully fixed, but I feel I could have paid just as much at the dealer or chain shop. After my one and only experience here, my advice is to be prepared to wait extra days due to mistakes, and make sure no parts are missing before you leave.
they give a high amount so you only pay the inspection fee. Their customer serivce is the worst I have ever experienced. I do not recommend this place.
