This is absolutely a great place to dine. The food at its good quality they are always consistent in their servings. Great people in the house.

This was sooooo much fun. Me and my friends came here because we didn't believe that you could have a restaurant that only does fondue. I mean, we didn't even think it was for real. Well it is. And its good. We got the spinach artichoke fondue and then the mojo with the steak and chicken and shrimp. I would give them 5 stars, but price makes me only give them 4.

as a chef myself i have a pretty good eye for poor hygiene at a restaurant and this place is top notch as far as i can tell. the food you cook yourself is part of the experience with your date. Its pricey, but romantic dinners usually are. and 3 more words of encouragement: chocolate covered fruit. Ladies, do your cardio before you go!

If you want to throw away your money and cook your own food in dirty water not to mention leaving the restaurant smelling just like the food you just cooked then go for it. If you like chocolate and dont mind the calories then maybe going there just for desert might be for you.

I absolutely can not get enough of this place. The atmosphere, food, drinks and service are all top knotch. And the best part is.....this restaurant is FUN!!! But make sure to come with a huge appetite because there is enough food to fill you up before your main course even comes and you have to leave room for the chocolate!!! Its the BEST PART!!!!!

I have visited here several times. You owe it to yourself to have a caramel apple martini while waiting to be seated here. Once seated, you won't be dissappointed by the selection of fondues on the menu. On Valentine's day, they only offer a special menu that is the best I have ever tasted. It features an Italian cheese that I wish they served every day. WELL WORTH THE PRICE! On a regular day, I would recommend the Pacific Rim over the other options. The dumplings that come with it are a nice appetizer to the different meats. Make sure to make some stuffed mushrooms as well!! The cheese and dessert fondues delicious! Overall, every experience I've had at this restaurant has been a good one.

I am a former employee of the MeltingPot and I must say that it is quite exquisite. The staff is amazing and the food is the freshest I have seen in ANY restaruant kitchen. Everything from the salads to the desserts to the bread are prepared fresh daily. The dinner may be a bit time consuming, although with good company it should be very enjoyable. The wine list is very impressive and the wines are stored in a temperture-controlled wine room to guarantee freshness. The bar is a beautiful centerpiece to the restaurant, and their selection is extensive. Leave room for dessert! Great for celebrations and large parties. Reservations are HIGHLY recommended. They have numerous returning customers who come back for the consistent satisfaction. Time for you to be one of them!

I tried all the menu had to offer... the cheese fondue, the meat and veggie fondue, and the deesert fondue... and by far the only plate worth while getting is the dessert with chocolate. The cheese fondue was great and the food was OK, bu not worth the money The food takes way too long to prepare. I would say the food is average but the dessert is to die for... and on a friday or saturday MAKE RESERVATIONS

The Melting Pot has never failed to disappoint me! Extremely overpriced for self-cooking, average food (except cheese - very good), clothes smell when you leave and the rudest, most obnoxious hostesses in the world! I arrived on my last visit at 5:00 pm on a weekday! It was completely empty. They were going to sit us by the kitchen door. We were giving major attitude and eye rolling when we refused. Go somewhere else!!

I don't agree with the reviewer who posted before me on 06/15/2005. I'm vegetarian, and love dining at the Melting Pot. Just remember they only serve regular marshmallows for the chocolate fondues, they don't carry those vegan gelatin-free marshmallows. They should offer them and just charge more (they're expensive). So ask them to skip the marshmallows and instead just give you more of the fruit or cake to dip. You can also bring your own vegan marshmallows, which I've done before, and they welcomed it. The gourmet salads and pastas were delicious and vegetarian. And of course, the cheese and chocolate fondues are out of this world. They also serve a plentiful platter of fresh vegetables for the main course. This is actually one of Miami's most vegetarian-friendly restaurants. If you have vegetarian friends, family or date, this is a great place to come and share a meal at!

Every time I want to go to the melting pot, I need a week's notice on the reservation. I once tried to come in at 5 o'clock for dessert, and they wouldn't seat me though the resturant had many vacancies. The did however offer me to sit at the bar, which is not very romantic. The food is great, and the service is good, just make sure you make your reservation. Also, make sure the person you are taking is not vegetarian!

I could not have asked for a more perfect evening. The lights are dim, the booths are private and cozy, the music is soft but jazzy and the food is mouth-watering. From the cheese fondue appetizer that the server prepares for you on your table, to the chocolate fondue dessert, with cakes and strawberries that you dip into warm chocolate and feed each other. It was our anniversary, and it was the most romantic evening my husband has ever planned for me. The restaurant had fresh flowers and balloons delivered to my table. What other restaurant provides those services? I will celebrate every anniveersary with them for years to come. I definitely recommend to couples in love, or looking to fall in love...

I know I am in for a couple of hours of relaxation and indulgence when I walk through the Melting Pot's doors! You are never rushed, the food is delicious, drinks are fun, the service is great, and the rest of the world disappears.
It's great for a party, too! You can take over one of the front rooms and have a fun time!

The Melting Pot in Kendall is my favorite restaurant. It is beautiful! I love the cheese fondue, YUM! The salads are amazing and the main course is as entertaining as it is delicious. We are never rushed and I enjoy sipping wine and relaxing with my date. Our service is warm and friendly, yet professional. I love this restaurant!

This is a great place to go on a date or even with a group. It's not cheap and the food is very rich, so it's definitely not an everyday place, but it's totally worth every penny and the absolute greatest place for special occasions or if you just wanna splurge on something extra special. I highly recommend it!!

The Melting Pot is an instant favorite. My wife and I had dinner there and it was a great atmosphere. For a nice romantic get a way from the norm, it a great way to get the night started right. Great choice of wine and a wonderful service. Would definitely reccomend to friends.

I love The Melting Pot... It's wonderful. It has great service, the staff is always on top of everything, the ambiance of the restaurant is great, everything is clean, and I never have to wait to be seated. The food quality is great, and the way the servers know how long to keep the food in the pots is outstanding, there are no more words to describe the experience The Melting pot gave me and gives to others who have never dined there before, this is a type of restaurant that anyone would definitly go back and eat at, because everything is romantic and perfect.

At last a restaurant that is beautiful, provides great service and has entertaining food! No movie needed! This was all I needed for a satisfying night out. Cheese, wine, chocolate and the best martinis! Kendalls best spot to escape the mundane!
I recommend the feast for two. The cheese and chocolate with this dinner is to die for. Our service was the best in town.

Melting pot has its own ambiance.. great lighting, romantic, and awesome food... an experience all on its own
