Sunny and his team are AMAZING! My fiance and I looked at EVERY store in Nash for an engagement ring and by far, this was the best experience, selection and pricing!! Not to mention, Sunny was the only jeweler to have the setting I dreamt of! And we went to Kay, Genesis, Shane & Co and Jared...but Solitaire and Sunny/his team were by far the most professional, fun, not pushy, and had the BEST selection! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Solitaire Diamond Outlet, Opryland Mall, Nashville Tennessee: I normally do not care to spend the time writing grievances for certain business practices that I feel are unfair, but I feel compelled to warn others of my experience today with this company. My wife and I had visited the store the third week in October 2015, and had been quoted a specific amount even including the tax for a particular ring. After 3 days of thinking it over, we went back to purchase the ring. We did so and agreed to this exact same amount that was quoted 3 days prior. The ring had to be sized and other modifications made that were part of the agreed upon amount. We paid by way of credit card, and closed the deal. All seemed well, but after about an hour we were called on our phone with the jeweler's response that we needed to come back to him and get a refund as the amount had been understated by a previous jeweler working there. We went back to see what the exact issue was, and were amazed that these people wanted to cancel our sales because of what they claimed was a misquoted amount to us. They told us that the amount should have been $400 more than what we had paid. It was obvious that they were not going to honor our already completed sale, and we had no recourse as they were still holding the ring for the resizing modifications that were to be made. I wanted to call the police and file a report for legal reasons and stated this to them, but my wife said it wasn't worth the trouble. We hopefully will received refunds on our card as the cancellation was indicated in the sales receipt, but since they have our card number and due to their dishonest business practices, I have reasons to worry. This is this first time I have every had to experience a blatant breach of contract by any retailer. Since they are foreigners, I felt the need to explain to them the business ethics that are used here in America when a contract has been finalized. I have no desire to have any resolution with them as they are not worth doing business with. My main reason for posting is to warn others of the unscrupulous business practices of the jewelers of this company. In closing all I can further state is, buyer beware!
