First experience ever with cab/taxi service was the worst left waiting for taxi outside Walgreen's on Dickerson Like for 45 minutes. Called back to see what had happened to cab was told we never called for cab. I told the older sounding lady that she had said 30-45 minutes again she says we never called. Looked through my phone showed in my call log so I called back told her exactly what time we called. Again even after offering to send screen shot of phone where I called again she says no you never called and she don't need my screen shot because we don't show in her system. She says you want a taxi or you want to continue sitting where your at? Rude, snotty, belligerent jerks with no care for customer service!!! Also my husband is ill and can't stand for long periods of time also shortness of breath when exposed to excessive heat for long periods of time. They did manage to get a cab to us but required another half hour of sitting outside in the heat!!! So unprofessional!!!

We stayed in Nashville for New Years Eve, about five miles away from downtown. Took a cab from the hotel to downtown with no problems; the cab was on time and the fare was reasonable ($20). However, after the event, we walked a few blocks away and called again for a taxi to take us back to the hotel. I gave our location and was told verbatim "I will send one your way." After waiting half an hour in the cold, and seeing several other cabs drive by in this time, we called back to check to status of the cab we were told was on the way. This time I spoke to a different person. She was rude to me from the beginning. I stated "We called half an hour ago for a cab, and I was just wondering where it's at, as it still hasn't arrived." I was told "Calm down, I don't know where you are." I gave the representative our location and she says, "We aren't dispatching to downtown at this time, you'll just have to flag someone down." I told her we had been standing in the cold for half an hour waiting for the taxi we were told was on its way to us. The representative snapped back at me "Well, I'm not the one who told you that." At this time, i requested to speak with a manager and was told "I am the manager" by the representative. I told her that perhaps she should ensure that her employees are clear with customers who call in and explain that they are not dispatching at this time rather than LYING and telling us that a cab is on the way. The "manager" at this time tells me "Well, getting sassy with me will not get you a cab any faster." I will never take a Yellow Cab again and would not recommend this business to anyone if this is how the manager feels it is appropriate to talk to potential customers.


All the reviews are right. I had called for a cab and the lady was very rude and short with me. Didnt eaven want the ride after talking with her. Web page says they serve the madison erea and that was a lie. Dont use their service!



Do Not Use This Cab Company

We took a yellow cab from our hotel to the airport. We accidentally left our suitcase in the cab. We realized a few minutes after getting out of the cab. We called yellow cab and asked them to announce that a suitcase was left in a cab that just dropped people off at the airport. We then offered a reward if the cab driver returned our suitcase to the airport. None of the cab drivers responded. Airport security was able to look at the security tape and determine the number of the cab that dropped us off. Yellow cab contacted the cab driver and he denied ever being at the airport. The people at yellow cab were extremely rude and not helpful. We never got our bag back!




i have had to use yellow cab many times as of late, due to my transportation going on the brink !! i will have to say the service and friendly personalitys of their drivers is on a higher level than the other taxi companys i have used in the past. also, being without my vehicle i knew i would have to use taxi service 3 or 4 times a week for awhile,so i took a chance and called the manager and asked for a discounted flat rate to work from my residence and i got one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks yellow cab your the best mike s.
