General Info: The mission of the Lyce Franais de New York is to prepare its students to be responsible citizens equipped for the world of tomorrow. To accomplish this, the school relies on the French educational system and culture. Beginning in first grade, French is the main language of instruction, and the school essentially follows the program of the French Ministry of National Education. In parallel, students are provided with a comprehensive and thorough American language and culture program comparable to that of top-level American independent schools.
