Alexander's Salon

I used to color my hair with grocery store box garbage. After years of it turning orange-brown and dead I called Alexander's about 2 years ago and explained my problems. Samantha set me up with Nikki Gorman and what a blessing it was ! We spent a few weeks just getting my hair HEALTHY for any color. I followed her directions patiently and will never go anywhere else ! And when Nikki is not available any of the other professionals do a wonderful job and go by her notes so no guessing what products to use on her clients. I just love them all, please check them out !

I have only seen one stylist there, Heather, but she obviously had NO idea how to deal with curly hair. I don't even mean African American hair. I am white and my hair is NOT that hard to manage. She was way too rough with it, blow dried it (a huge no-no) and made it generally frizzy and gross.

I don't know what that person is talking about. Jessie has been doing my color for years and I have never had a problem with anything she has done. I started off with her as a color correction! If you want to visit an upbeat, friendly environment go to alexanders. You may even get a karaoke show while you are there! I know I have!

This was the worst color experience I've ever had. I'm new to the area and I don't know anybody, so I searched and compared almost every salon in the area and decided to go with Alexander's. I thought ok, they have been voted #1 several times, I can't go wrong here. So they assigned me to Jessie. I showed her pics and told her exactly what I wanted. I wanted highlights and a trim all the same length in the back and my swooped bangs trimmed. Well she started with coloring my whole head this yellow color and then highlighted over it. And then cut about 6 inches off my hair and layered the whole thing. So 3.5 hours later my hair smells like a cigarette b/c every chance she could get she was outside smoking, and I have yellow orange hair. I have now scheduled a color correction w/ swank hair salon tomorrow. Hopefully they can fix this hot yellow mess I'm sporting on my head. Jessie needs to go back to school!!! .. It was very disappointing and a huge waste of my time and money!

I've been going to Alexander's for a few years now. Susanne does my hair and she does an awesome job! My hair was in really bad shape my first time to her and now it is healthy and long. Everyone here is so nice and helpful.

I have just had my hair cut at alexander's. I also wanted a white patch covered. The stylist however started to cover my whole hair. I got so angry!!!! She was not appologizing instead she said it would be ok.. Eventually she offered to wash part of it off. When it was all done - I still had my white patch!!!! (which is a very small but visible area at the front) They still asked me to pay the full price. Never going back again!

Jessie is amazing! I came in with a simple picture and she was extremely helpful about what options I had with color. I will never go anywhere else. Ask for Jessie!
