Fixed Rate Moving

I used this moving service to move a large tool box from my home in Little Rock to my shop in North Little Rock. They were very prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. I would recommend them!

My Aunt had a good experience with this company, so we decided to try them on our short move. The lead mover had a condescending and obnoxious attitude. He swore often and openly declared his discontent with moving our stuff from the first floor to the third. Furthermore, I question some of their moving practices, e.g. my couch has slits(just through wear and tear) on the bottom of them, and this guy decided to use those as handles while marching up the stairs. This isn't very professional for a company that advertises themselves as such. They do use back-straps, though! Yeah safety!



Anyway, when you pay $198 to move just under 2 miles--with furniture and supplies that take up about 1/4th of their truck--you'd figure you'd have cordial behavior from these "professionals". I was disappointed.



The Little Rock metro has multiple movers that serve the area, and I'm sure you can get better service elsewhere. I am giving two-stars because the other younger movers seemed to care. The other demonic-like one needs to have a "come-to-Jesus-meeting" with his boss.



Oh, I don't know which one did this, but one of them left a half-full water bottle we gave them on top of a flood light in the second-floor corridor.

They did an amazing job with our move...I honestly can't say enough nice things! The whole crew worked with efficiency and took great care of all of our stuff. We moved from a 3 bedroom house to a 4 bedroom house, and using Fixed Rate Moving made the transition much, much less stressful. I also learned that you can hire them for smaller projects too...moving stuff from to and from the attic, etc. I am sure we will call them many times in the future.
