Fuji Japanese Steakhouse

Don't waste your time and money. This place is awful. It was 11:45 a.m. and there was 4 cars in the parking lot. That should have told me something. I ordred Chicken, the salad came out and had the pink looking dressing that I am used to at the REAL Fuji (West Knoxville). The dressing was far from the same, it had a bitter, sour taste. The food came out there was little to no sauce on the chicken, I took the smallest piece and it tasted undercooked! I told the waitress she offered to bring me more I said no way just veggies & rice. I would rate this place less than 1 if I could. Definitely will not return!

This was my 2nd time here. Once was dine in and this time was carry out. The carry out was super slim hardly no veggies and or meat. 2 meals for 29 bucks this place is a joke.

Well we thought we were getting a decent Japanese steak house in Oak Ridge, instead we got really really bad food for $56.00. Not sure what the soup was but it was not good at all. My wife and I ordered the same meal, Filet and shrimp and wow. The filet was completely tasteless and the veggies and rice tasted like salt, which is odd because the other review on here said it tasted like pepper. We each ate probably 25% of our meal and left the rest. The food was horrible and the atmosphere was even worse. This is by far the worst Japanese steak house we have ever eaten at. Take your money and go by a Wok, trust me, you can make better food at home.

I was really excited for this restaurant to open, but I've been disappointed. There was hardly any difference between the look of the pizza place that was in the building and the decor of Fuji's. It was lazy remodeling at best. Sushi was wonderful, but the hibachi was sub par and really peppery. I sort of felt like the waitress was hovering over the table like a vulture because she was walking through the tables every four seconds, but my drink did stay full so I was happy. I probably will not go back. There are better options available for Asian cuisine in Oak Ridge and there are three more Japanese steak houses in Knoxville. Price was adequate for the amount of food we got. I was paying for my friend's lunch because it was her birthday and ended up spending about $30 for the two of us. Dinner prices are obviously more expensive.
