IN BUSINESS
I was reminded today why my family and I continued to go to the IHOP on Lovell Road, even though they had been built in Oak Ridge. The Lovell Road restaurant has wonderful service. the OR one, not so much. I just left there after being seated and ignored for over 20 minutes.
the one in Knoxville was fabulous when We took Dharma there for breakfast a couple of weeks ago....... She even got a black kitty made of balloons with a pink bow.... so cute

Provided by CitysearchI have to agree with the post by Fonda Barnes the experience we had at IHOP was wonderful. We went on a Sunday Morning when they first opened and it was very crowded . They told us we would have a 15 min wait and we were seated in 10. The waitress was polite and very attentive to our needs. Food was hot and right on time. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Provided by CitysearchI read the 1 terrible review of the IHOP in Oak Ridge. I started to go somewhere else, but didn't. I can't imagine any better service or food anywhere. The waitress was very attentive and courteous. Please do not pay attention to the 1st Review. It is all wrong. If you don't go to the IHOP in Oak Ridge, you will miss a real treat.

Provided by CitysearchWhen the Oak Ridge IHOP opened, I thought it was a smart business decision to add another 24hr eatery to the area; especially due to the large workforce that comes and goes at unusual hours from the nuclear security sites that birthed this town.
However, visiting this IHOP is a real gamble in terms of service and should be avoided. I recently went to this IHOP for an item on the menu that I enjoy and asked the one waitress to leave an ingredient on the side because they usually smother the dish with it. In the 30ft walk to the cook she forgot to tell him this. She wasn't busy and this wasn't the first bad experience I've had with the service.
A few weeks back I tried to order an item only to find out they forgot to order one of the ingredients. I later found out it took them two weeks to replenish their supply. Prior to that I had gone with friends not long after they opened. The server got more orders wrong than right. Most didn't get a complete order and were charged for the full order that they placed. A buddy also ordered milk and it had a conspicuous curly hair floating in it. Until this IHOP gets management that improves the operation and quality of service, AVOID THIS IHOP!!
