Overrated. Needs total renovation. Looks old and worn out. You eat on formica tables. The steaks are good, but there are many other restaurants that are far better.
By far, consistently, the best steaks around. The service is always great as well. Kind of pricey for the average Joe, but really awesome steaks!
Steak cooked perfectly and the service was attentive and friendly. Price was especially god. I have eaten at Ruth Chris, Smith &Wollenkys and this meat was much better and a third of the price
If you are looking for the best steak in the world, look no further. This place has the best cuts of beef anywhere. Make sure you get the salad with the house dressing it's the best around.
The breakfast buffet is very good and the service is always friendly and professional. We have been customers since 1977 and would not hesitate to recomend Cattemen's to anyone. It is a taste of the old west. Great atmosphere.
I went there with family and it was one of the best steaks I have had. We also had potato skins as an appetizer which i really liked. The atmosphere and service were excellent.
At age 66, I would rate their rib eye steak as the 3rd or 4th I have ever eaten. The 2nd best is my wife's carefully selected rib eye for grilling in the backyard. But, by far, the best rib eye I have ever eaten was at Toad Suck Bucks in Central Arkansas!

Provided by CitysearchI have eaten here a couple of times in my travels, the food is usually pretty damn good. Unfortunately I haven't had more of a sample. The ribeye and tbone are often too thin of a cut for my taste but the flavor is there. The outside of the building does not lend itself to a high end steakhouse so the pricing is right for the area and decor. The lamb fries are a good choice, dont let the name trick you otherwise. They should add moonshine to the menu...
A staple in okc, this is thee go to place to get an awesome steak!
Cattlemen's is a dining tradition in Oklahoma City offering everything from steaks to lamb fries with great service and fantastic lunch prices. The breakfast buffet in one of the best. I love to meet family and friends here for a great meal and enjoyable atmosphere.
4 of us dined here couple nites ago. 2 of us had filet mignon and 2 had ribeyes. We were very impressed with food quality. Possibly the best steak we have eaten in a restaurant anywhere. Thanks folks. Well done.
Fair but not the best steak ever. Taste like something you would get at a buffet.

Provided by CitysearchThe ribeye was excellent. Very tasty and prepared perfectly. Salad was, well, salad is salad isn't it! The potato was good as well altough a bit on the small side. Everything was going great until I ordered the lemon meringue pie. This is the type of lemon meringue pie that gave it a bad name many years ago. The custard is almost green and the consistency is almost jello like - avoid. I would have tried their famous cocoanut creme, but I don't care for cocoanut. Don't the let pie dilemma stop you, I recommend to steak lovers everywhere! No wait when I arrived at 5 pm. The decor is vintage old time restaurant which should not be changed. The place has character! I am from California. I didn't even let the fact that the President had eaten here deter me! Interesting that this program identifies the President's name as an inappropriate word! Perfect!
Best Steaks I ever ate and the service was great I would reccomend it to anyone bar none be they friend or foe. President or Pope King or Queen. Great house dressing for me and great blue cheese for my son on our salads. I will be back, and back and back.
Each time my husband and I have always gone for Breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it every time. Valentines Day he decided lets go there. We hadn't tried it for dinner meals. Yes there was about a 30 minute or so wait. They sent us up stairs with all the others waiting and it was everyone saying HI and treating each other as if friends forever and known ya forever as well. It was our turn for us to get our table and right at the stairs was a person waiting to take you to the table. Seated us and treated us like family. Our waiter and was just spectacular. We even over tipped. Great time the meal in our books were exquisite. Meat was perfect. They actually had us cut the meats to make sure all was fine. It was beyond fine. Parking kinda bites but its worth the stroll. Besides all should take a stroll after that kind of meal. We have been pretty much regulars since August 2008. We moved here in July 08 and have never had a bad experience there.
Thanks Folks for making the newcomers feel at home.
