did you turn it on?
you got to make sure you cover every possible option, ya know?
depends on make and model of refrigerator. I got a new Samsung and it made ice two weeks. It's been worked on several times and even new ice maker installed. Still does not work. Do not buy Samsung! They sell you there crap knowing it isn't going to work. It's been almost three years and I'm still buying ice by the bag. It's trash and never again. Give me GE or Maytag any day.
1: the water pipe that brings water to the ice make could be clogged with Ice. If that is the case you'll have to let it melt and then clean the inside of the pipe.
2: some Ice makers have a reset button that you could reset it.
3: some ice makers have a cover if you open the back white square panel there is a T and H slot. put a wire from T to H it will make the icemaker run. if it run then icemaker is good. then wait until it finishes its cycle then see if water starts to come in.
