Bandera Restaurant

This is the best restaurant in the entire Sacramento area by far. The service is top notch, the atmosphere is so comfortable- definitely the place to go to have a great meal and unwind!

Great food, wonderful atmosphere! Make reservations ahead of time, it's normally super busy. Delicious drinks, and normally a packed bar!

Hands down, favorite restaurant with mouth watery EVERYTHING. You can not leave this place without getting dessert!

I don't understand all of the reviews complaining about Bandera being overpriced, in my opinion they provide great value if you are going out for a nice dinner. Their food (specifically the Hawaiian Ribeye special, Prime Rib, etc) rivals anything you can find at high end steakhouses like Ruths Chris, Morton's, Chops, etc for roughly half the price of those restaurants. The sides, salads and desserts are reasonable ($5-9) a most importantly... THEY DO NOT CHARGE A CORKAGE FEE! That is amazing. Good wine is so expensive at restaurants it is hard to believe that Bandera allows you to do this, I was somewhat scared to ask the first time I did it. You can bring nice bottle of wine and have an amazing meal in a nice atmosphere with good service for $100... that is a great deal in my opinion. The people complaining about the prices at Bandera should stick to Red Lobster, Olive Garden or Buca for their special occasions. This is not a restaurant to take your kids or big groups. Take your significant other and have a great night.

Albert H. and Matthew K. are idiots. Note to Albert, if you don't want to pay $5 dollars for a side salad(cheap skate), go to McDonalds and hang out with the repulsive scum of Sacramento and pay 2 dollars. And if you felt uncomfortable there its because you don't belong there. Matthew K. it's annoying when people come up and ask you 20 times a meal if everything is okay. They don't need your business. So stay home because I highly doubt that anyone cares about either of you and your opinions-douche bags. Bandera's has excellent food and an energetic atmosphere. Try the jalapeno corn bread. Bomb.
