My experience was AS GOOD AS IT GETS! SEVEN STARS. Bought a $20,000 Range Rover Sport from David, Alex, and Mike. . Had car checked out at my friends large dealership service dept. They did a very detailed inspection. Car checked out as "excellent." The mechanic found the car needed the rear window wiper blade replaced (6 dollars), the cigarette lighter fixed, (a fuse), and a wheel alignment. Everything was taken care of to my satisfaction. The back brakes pads were still good but getting low. There was no damage to the discs - rotors, but I told them I would like new pads, for my future "peace of mind.". Alex had new premium pads and a new sensor installed. The sensor alone was $38.00. My total cost for sensor, pads, and labor was $50.00 for both back wheels. That will save me bucks in the future. I really had high expectations of what I wanted and they more then met them. A mechanical engineer friend of mine checked out the integrity of door moldings, body parts, how things under the hood fit, like covers, looked for condition of wires, screws, plastic parts etc. He got "engineer picky." Said car had never been in an accident and was in superb condition. I can only speak for myself. My experience was awesome. Of course every used car is different. The more you pay the better the car. I'm a senior pastor and would recommend David Alex, and Mike to members of my church.

These guys are awesome! Buying a used car is always a crap shoot, but at least if you shop at Salem Auto Sales you won't get hassled, pushed or jerked around. This is atypical in my used car buying experience from both major new car dealerships and small exclusive used car dealerships alike. I totally felt comfortable the entire time and was never once pushed or rushed into the deal. These guys find some of the best examples of both foreign and domestic used vehicles to put on their lot too. Keep in mind that these guys are not mechanics, and so all of the work done to the vehicles is completed by a outside private mechanic. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND DUE DILLAGENCE! If you are not mechanically inclined, Google and You Tube can help! Check for potential problems before looking for ANY car you buy used. Then actually test for these problems PRIOR to purchasing. Before you buy, you also have the option of taking the vehicle to a mechanic of your choosing to have them scope it out for you. Will it cost more? Sure. But it will save you a LOT more if you don't know what to look for yourself. Before you blame the guys who sold the car, realize they too bought the car on an assumption of quality and paid a mechanic to fix known problems before selling. EVERYTHING breaks eventually. Rarely can anyone predict exactly when. Anyone buying a used vehicle should go into the process knowing this and plan accordingly. I am extremely pleased with my purchase, but I will not drive it until I change ALL fluids, lube ALL friction points of the drive assemblies, change the sparkplugs, change the fuel filter and triple check every regularly maintenance component even though their mechanic did a lot of that stuff already. Why? Because I don't trust cut rate mechanics who'll never see that customer again and I don't know what fluids (or their quality) that they put in or the parameters the maintenance was performed at or what maintenance items were skipped by the previous owner. But none of that is the fault of the salesmen (how would they now if the mechanic did his/her job right? If asked I'm sure they'd say it was the best service ever). If they paid a top notch mechanic to give top rate service to all of their vehicles, they'd be out of business because that level of service is not cheap, especially at high volume. If I am in the market for another used vehicle, I would not have a problem coming back to Salem Auto Sales.

Bought a SUV from Salem Auto Sales a few months ago. I've driven the car from Sacramento to Los Angeles several times and have not ran into any problems. After paying this one off will definitely buy another car from Salem Auto Sales.

We just bought a great car (Saab 2003 convertible) here & got a good price and good service. We found David to be very friendly, honest, trustworthy & fair. He even handled minor repairs recommended by our mechanic.

I was looking at the 06 Porsche CayenneS they had, I test drove it and was impressed with the way it drove and looked very clean! David was very nice and helped me get approved with the best loan working with my ok/not so good credit! I had the car for two weeks and the left blinker light bulb went out, know one at o'reillys wanted to help me change the light bulb on a Porsche! I'm a single woman so obviously I ALWAYS get taken advantage of when it comes to car sales men and car auto mechanics! BUT not at Salem auto sales I took my car back to David and told him my problem, he helped me and fixed my problem right there with no problems or hesitation! I'm very HAPPY with my car and most importantly I'm happy with my choice on buying my car from here... I would recommend them to anyone knowing they'll take care of you making sure your happy with your new/used car!

Let me start by saying working with David and Mike was a pleasure I bought two cars from them one being a 2008 Chrysler Aspen and the other being a Cadillac Escalade 2005 I've enjoyed my cars and have not had any problems with them I would highly recommend this place for people to go looking for cars because David and Mike go out of their way to please people and make sure they're happy with their new car thank you so much David and Mike for making my new car buying experience easy and painless as possible couldn't have asked for a better place to go and better people to work with thank you again so much and I will keep you in mind in the future and I will be back to buy more cars from you guys.
