The owners are such wonderful people!! The staff is friendly! The food is excellent!! Everything here is great just be prepared to have BBQ sauce on you! Lol

If I could do more stars I would. This is my families favorite place to eat. The owners are wonderful friendly people. The staff is great. Staff stays around a long time because they are treated so well. Their catering is great!! They come out and serve it if that's what you want. The tri-tip is on the top of my list.

My mouth is watering just thinking of their food! Anytime I am going through this part of town I try to stop and pick up dinner for the whole family. They have Yummy chicken & Delicious ribs!

Texas West has delicious barbecue meats for meals, sandwiches, and side dishes. Their food is reasonably priced and the service is speedy. We regularly met with a group of friends for an outing to the Roseville location before it closed. We don't get the Texas West as often as we once did because it is no longer close to home, but still eat there whenever we are anywhere near their current location. If you like barbecued meats, you can't go wrong.

My son and I were wanting BBQ and this place had high reviews the last 5 years. I don't know how they got it. The meal was a total disappointment! I had the Texas triple (chicken, ribs, and brisket with potato salad and beans for sides). The brisket was overcooked and dry, the ribs were super tough, and the chicken tasted like they were prepared last week as well as being dry. The potato salad was okay, as were the beans. The cole slaw my son had wasn't as good. When I commented on the brisket, I was told that's the way it's done. BS! Brisket done right is medium rare to medium, juicy, and tender. I eat BBQ every time I go to Texas and this restaurant would be going broke for lack of customers.
