Tres Hermanas

This is an update from my original review. I dropped it from 3 stars to 1 star. I would drop it to zero stars if possible. I just learned 5 days after our patronage to this restaurant, someone tried to charge three different charges of $633.99 on my mother's credit card to attend EV SUMMER FESTIVAL (a music concert in LA). Fortunately, it was declined all 3 attempts. Shame on them! I despise thieves! If you plan to eat at this establishment pay cash. Original review: The food was delicious. We had the chili verde, chili colorado, chimichanga. The rice was moist and beans were good. The service on the other hand was poor. They only checked on us once to refill drinks that were all empty. When they returned with refills on the sodas, they failed to fill the water. She was off before we were able to tell her we needed more water. The food was spicy, so water was a must. Maybe just a bad night. The atmosphere was fun.

Have some of the best tacos around! Delicious food, very intimate local setting. Feels like home. They do a great job accommodating big groups!

Amazing food - really authentic. Spiced and seasoned just right. They were great with my gluten free requests, too.

Their food is amazing, and their service is fantastic, and they know their 'regulars' by name. I've gone here for over 10 years and have never had a bad meal or experience.

Some of the best Mexican Food in Sacramento. They are down town but they do have a small parking lot that is off the street.

This restaurant has been rated Sacramentos best restaurant for several years in a row. Their taco salad and top shelf margaritas are to die for. If it's nice you can even sit outside.

Tres Hermanas - you definitely don't go here for the service. I have had some of the slowest and worth service at TH and the only way they even get three stars is because you cannot beat the food. I prefer simple carne asada or el pastor tacos and they have some of my favorite. Again, great food, just super shaky on their service.

You'll probably wait for your food, but luckily you'll get a basket of chips and the best salsa in Sacramento to keep you busy. And once your food arrives, it won't matter because it's just that good. Do yourself a favor and get the verde sauce on your enchiladas. Spicy, authentic, perfect.

Overpriced, dirty patio, bad food and service. For real mexican food, go somewhere else.

Get the carnitas or chicken mole, you can't go wrong.
