In 1946, in the small town of Scottsdale, Arizona, a plumbing company was established. Arthur L. Bratzel was the founder of Scottsdale Plumbing. Began as a small business, operating out of a two-story building on 2nd Street just west of Scottsdale Road, the plumbing company greeted customers from the lower level while the owners resided above. Unique in its time, Scottsdale Plumbing offered a parts counter and quaint showroom which featured a complete line of products and fixtures. All was accompanied by friendly service. Today, much like it was fifty-four years ago, Scottsdale Plumbing is still in full operation. Art Bratzel's Granddaughter, Linda Covington Barnett is now in charge of the business. Like a great American dream...the company has flourished and with a full fleet of service and delivery trucks. Scottsdale Plumbing serves as one of the Valley's leading authorities on fine plumbing fixtures.
