Can I just say that I LOVE this place. I wish it was not so expensive, though and what is up with the aggressive parkers? You every notice that this place AND Trader Joe's attracts the MOST passive-aggressive drivers ever?

Anyways, I love the fresh produce and vitamin aisle.

This is a great whole foods in...

This is a great whole foods in a great area. Like most whole foods, it is kept extremely clean and extremely fresh. The staff is very friendly and on my first visit I was very surprised that 3 different employees greeted me when walking in the door

I love whole foods. The food is amazing, fresh, yummy, healthy (most of it) and just awesome. Yes it is pricey , but the quality of what you get is incomparable . So many options for organic produce , a wide variety of fruits , veggies , herbs and much more. I love the fact you can order fish or meat and have them grill it there. I wish they had more stores in the valley.

Wonderful stuff!

My parents grew up in the Marina and they have been linked to here for years. You walk in the front door and you just get enveloped in the smell of the Italian food waiting inside. They have the best deli meats and cheeses and be sure to pick up some raviolis to take home. Mozzarella is shipped in fresh from Italy twice a week as well. This place just reminds me why I like being Italian.

Great Choices!!

This place is a vegetarian's dream grocery store, with a focus on natural and organic goods and a gargantuan selection of fruits, vegetables and vegan products. But carnivores won't feel neglected, as stores also boast a vast selection of top-quality meats, poultry and fish. Also expect fresh-baked goods, house ware, a floral department and a well-stocked vitamin and personal-product section. Deli offers hot and cold prepared foods and artisanal cheeses.

Good lunch option

If you've never considered Whole Foods for lunch or dinner, give it a shot. There are multiple salad bars, some taco bars, a Japanese area with sushi, an Italian section, and even a counter with Mexican food. Even the pickiest of eaters will find something. Right next to the cafeteria is a wall full of drinks, with everything from water to exotic sodas.

I made my way to the Japanese area and ordered the salmon teriyaki bowl with brown rice and vegetables. Not a very daring selection, but it ended up being a good choice. While the salmon was dry, there was enough teriyaki sauce to help it out and the brown rice was cooked well. What made the bowl stand out, however, were the vegetables - predominantly a variety of peppers and bok choy.
