Remember, therapy is always an option, it's your decision and your decision alone to make, but rest assured that Patricia is non-judgemental and all information is confidential. If you're diagnosis is, for example, depression or something that may benefit from medication, or if your Primary Care Physician (PCP) refers you to Patricia for an evaluation, she may recommend you discuss with your PCP if medication is a viable option. Additionally, should Patricia feel that you may benefit from medication management, and with your permission, she may refer you to a Psychiatrist, who strictly manages medication versus providing therapy. You will then continue therapy with her. But again, this is entirely up to you. Therapy helps a person cope and learn new mechanisms to manage life stressors with or without the aid of medication.

Stress Management
Is a small and comfortable mental health clinic located in Sherwood, AR. Our clinic provides counseling services to children ages 5 and older, adolescents, adults, couples, seniors and families. We provide an atmosphere that's non-judgemental and sensitive to all individuals, regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and religious or political beliefs. Psychiatry
Patricia Scott has been in private practice for 12 years. Her speciality is pyschotherapy and she's a graduate of both University of Central Arkansas and the University of Arkansas Little Rock. While in graduate school she interned at the Geri-Psychiatry Unit at Baptist Health in Little Rock, with rounds at Teen Recovery. Additonally, she interned at the Veteran's Administration (McClellan Hospital) where she was fortunate enough to work with veteran's, learning and understanding their needs, such as PTSD. Upon graduation, she was trained and worked under Dr. Ken Counts for 5 years before opening her own practice in 2005. She has since attended many seminars, conferences, and has continued her education by staying abreast of new techniques, while fine tuning skills and furthering knowledge in her field.
