We waited a long time to have a mall in south Phoenix. We love everything. We use the movie theater more than anything else.

Provided by CitysearchDo you want to find this and many other outlet malls? Check out āDesigner Outletsā applications for iPhone. They have hundreds of designer and factory outlet centers across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. You can browse outlet center directories, connect to outlet websites (and find current promotions!), and map the route from your current or chosen location to the outlet center. Awesome!

Provided by Citysearchthats because the theatre is all full of mexicans. in fact..the whole mall is!! You know how mexicans always have to trash everything up and yell over people. You can't have ""luxury"" when there are mexicans filling up the joint. Just think about it.

Provided by CitysearchLOL. The top 3 reviewers almost seem like they've got a vendetta against this theater, maybe u guys got kicked out for sneaking in or something. As far as getto goes which all 3 of you seem to agree it is, this theater is decent at best but by far does not deserve the slashing u guys are giving to it. If you really want to see what a real rundown place looks like, go to New York and look up a place called the Commack Theater in Commack, Long Island. That theater is deserving of such a title. The workers there don't so much as clean up the mess as spread it around with the 2 cent broom and dustpans they carry around. You wouldn't let the person you hated most in the world eat from the concession stand. The customer service couldn't be worse. God Forbid you ever lost something or left your phone in the theater for 2 seconds bcus it will be gone. Kids aren't as much as a problem as the adults who talk throughout the whole entire movie. And finally you'd be lucky if while waiting in line for the movie you didn't bump into somebody and it didn't end up in a fist fight. So when you go there and see how bad it can really be, then maybe we'll talk.
Solutions to the problems:
For those complaining about it being distracting because of the people with their cellphones that's the people's fault not the theater's. The theater's responsibility ends with reminding people to turn their cellphones off during the flick. If they don't do that then that's their prerogative. It is America after all. So the all-powerful solution to this and the problem with the kids is to simply schedule a time when you know there won't be that many kids.
And as far as the managers go, them doing ""theater checks"" is jus a part of the job they are now forced to do since so many people nowadays sneak into the theater. So don't blame them blame the people who don't feel they should have to pay for a service rendered.

Provided by CitysearchHarkins should be embarrassed to have their name and the word LUXURY associated with the name of this theater. I could not believe how dirty this theater was. There was trash all over the floor (they do not clean theater in-between movies). Floor was so sticky that I had to wash my shoes off with Goo Gone when I got home. The bathrooms were disgusting. No toilet paper, paper towels or soap. The theater personnel allow people bringing their children iand minors not accompanied by a parent into a rated R movie. Children get bored and start crying/talking.. Teenagers are fooling around with their cell phones ringing throughout the movie/talking really loud to their friends during the movies and walking up and down the aisles during the movie . . . very distracting especially when you pay $10 to see a movie. I would recommend that you drive the extra 5-6 miles south and go to AMC Ahwatukee 24 Theater off of I-10 & Ray Rd. or stay home and make it a Blockbuster or Hollywood Video event.

Provided by CitysearchI dont know what other people think, but I can tell you that this theater prides its self on being ghetto. I have never in my whole time gone to a theater and seen so many cell phones that go off. Not to mention the kids that are running up and down all the time. The fact that you have employees that are consistantly coming in and doing a theater check. So lets break it down. 1: cell phones 2: People wont shut up 3: kids running around. 4: people kicking your chair. that was the negatives, the positives are...dont know of any.

Provided by CitysearchPeople coming in/out all the time. People playing with their cellphones. People not controlling their kids. A manager doing a ""theatre check"" does not help. Seems like everytime we go to this theatre, there is always some kind of distraction. We often do not sit on the back row but when it comes to this theatre, we have to in order to prevent someone from kicking the back of our chair....yet be distracted again!

Provided by CitysearchThis is definitely worth checking out for anyone who is from a small town or who hasn't seen an Imax flick yet. The screen is 8 stories tall, and the sound is incredible. I recommend checking out one of the 3d movies they offer from time to time--you'll find yourself feeling like you could reach out and touch the incredible sights. Most movies only last a half hour or an hour, but you can always go next door and check out GameZone when you're done.

Provided by CitysearchNot sure if all of the theaters feature stadium seating, but the screens that do are great. Retractable armrests and great sound make this one of the best theaters in the Valley. Pretty busy spot, though, because it's in the mall. Parking is also a nightmare.
